Chernobyl occurred in the former USSR in 1986, yes it was located in present day Ukraine, but it is only 100 miles from the Russian border. Also Chernobyl is credited with being partially responsible for the fall of the berlin wall…Apparently she is so hideous she can topple entire countries!!!
