THE DIRTY ARMY: Here is a picture of Tony Fags car on Michigan Ave. I swear he put a spoiler and the gold stripes and rims on it, because factory Ferraris do not look like that. It might even be a kit car. He always parks it in the Gold Coast at a Hotel so that he can go “workout” along North Ave beach or Oak Street beach. He is always topless with a fanny pack belt. He does a few reps with 5 or 10 pound weights then power walks. Does some sit-ups. The actual setting up to do the workout lasts longer than the physical activity. Then he comes back to the car in the middle of the Viagara Triangle, still shirtless, and stands by his car doing stretches. Then people take pictures with him and his car because he’s a douche. He’s been doing this for years. Supposedly he owned a club and it burned down under suspicious circumstances. $$$. He goes by different names such as Sammy Hagar, Rod Stewart, David Coverdale….

i saw it up close parked at north avenue beach last summer, way before i ever read the dirty. thought the pin stripes were lame, but loved the care nonetheless. most kit’s are replicas of tr’s 355′s, or 348′s. never seen a modena kit. whoever commented on the rotors is an idiot, they are clearly huge. yeah, he looks like sammy hagar but he is driving a hundred and fifty thousand dollar car. hate on haters. also, whoever said it looked like an early 2000′s integra is a moron. integra was replaced by the rsx during those years. perhaps you meant nsx?

it is definitely a kit, knew it at first glance. I know this model well, and the Modena engine cover glass does not follow that form. The rear tail lights are also oddly placed. Probably fools a lot of people, but ferrari it is not.

I live across the street from the guy. He is on Maple in Oak Park, IL one block up from Washington. He parks the red mobile in the back and polishes that thing every day. I can say that this guy is admirable in the amount of time he puts into keeping his car pristine, however much of a crazy guy he is… If you want to meet him, he is usually in the alley between maple and wisconsin in the early afternoon. Everyone who walks by says hi and he is incredibly friendly.

The car is real… he had the gold pin striping down after along with the spoiler… he had sony xplode speakers installed inside which are the bogus ones u get at best buy. he says his rims are $25k a piece and theyre from italy…the car had about 50,000 on the odo 4 years ago. its easy over 100,000 now… and the property that burnt down wasnt a night club it was one of his buildings. he has a bunch on apartment he rents out.
