Jim McKay was the best Olympic announcer of all time! His words still ring out from the 1972 Munich Olympics. I think Costas stole his wig and is sporting the beaver in Beijing.
Nick, Jim McKay was going senile on TV during the 1984 LA games. Costas is a worm, and one thing that’s pissing me off is everytime swimming comes up they show the reply of the black dude from the 100 gold medal relay team shooting his mouth off about how he’s the fastest swimmer in the world, so why didn’t he win the 100 meter free if he’s so damn good ?
