944 Magazine Has More Legal Troubles

Click on the following link http://www.courthousenews.com/2009/04/02/SuperBowlSquabble.pdf for pages of papers filed against 944 for the whole Superbowl fiasco. Plantiff’s accuse 944 of being racist towards mexicans/latin americans numerous times in the paperwork, stating that “mexicans would ruin the party” and 944 wouldn’t do any press with any latina organizations. They plantiff also alleges that 944 only wanted “white, upscale” attendees at the event – which is ironic since half the their “performers” were not white. I’m sure there advertisers and readers would love to hear about their need for only white readers and partygoers.
If you have an intern to read through the docs, they are pretty hysterical especially the part where Eric Crown says he owns 944 not Marc Lotenburg.
