OC Wife Jeana Keough In Foreclosure

THE DIRTY ARMY: (OC Register) - Jeana Keough of the ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ TV show confirms that creditors have filed notices of default on her Coto de Caza home.

According to ForeclosureRadar.com

  • Lender Washington Mutual — now Chase — last month filed a notice of default for a $1.3 million mortgage made in 2003. Unpaid was $37,538.
  • The Coto homeowner’s association filed a similar motion in April, claiming its owed $3,732.

Jeana told The Register that she recently got some paperwork from lenders and “I’m trying to doing a loan modification.”

She admits that she controls four homes — the other three are rental properties — and all are in trouble. “I think all four of my houses have notices of defaults on them, as I’m trying to get loan modifications on them. To get a loan modification you have to stop making payments to qualify. I have renters in the other three now. I don’t know if I’m going to sell it, or what I’m going to do.”

Jeana, who when she isn’t acting is in real estate sales, added: “The realty business is so bad. You’ve got to come up with $10,000 a month. It’s a tough market, everybody’s struggling. My kids don’t really need this news right now.”

When it rains it pours… I hope the family gets through these tough times.- nik

Agreed. Normally I would take pleasure in one of the OC wh*res misery, but Jeana actually seemed nice. It is too bad she had such a worthless deadbeat husband. Also, her .50 hitter in single- a Shane also was a loser. Amazing. She seems like a good mom. He must have inherited his fathers douche bag qualities.

I sort of feel bad for her but then I don’t. She was nice and I hated how bad the men in her life treated her but still she was still uppity and narcissistic. I remember several episodes where she was like, “Oh, It just 10,000 dollars. Oh, everyone has a black card. Oh, it’s only 50,000 dollars.” Will, where’s the money now. I bet that $9000 new bedroom set could be sold for $3000 on ebay.

    me says:

any ‘business’ where you have to come up with 10k a month to stay afloat isnt a business. She is like every other OC realtor turned Donald Trump wannabe who has a handful of rental houses where the rental income doesnt cover the debt service, and they make up the shortage with equity lines of credit. There is no end to the game and it eventually implodes. Robbing peter to pay paul, and using larry’s car and gun.

      Uptown says:

Exactly…. They receive a reported $30,000 per episode. With 10 episodes that’s $300,000.. then after taxes around $200,000 she pockets.. Plus, the income from her real estate business (which I guess is nothing). And I hope while she was spending money she was saving it… But I guess she wasn’t. I’m really amazed by these b^tches.. The show pretty much pays for everything including those “trips” on the show.. I cannot understand how dumb you have to be to not save for a rainy day… Man, I feel really rich now with my $7000 in the bank. Seriously people, save save save…

Aww I love Jeanna and her whole family, they were the best part of that show. I really hope this gets worked out for her. The real estate market is killing us right now too. Rough times. Bravo should give that family a show of their own. Since Gretchin & Tamra joined up that show has gone soo down hill. Jeanna is in a class of her own, they should keep the others on the OC show and do a classier spin off just about the Keogh family. I’d watch it.

I suppose her problem is the values of her 4 homes. Most likely all 4 are underwater, meaning she cannot sell them for what she even owes. She is like millions of other homeowers that are stuck until values stabilize. Good luck though, she is the only one that I like on that show.
