Wrong answer, Christian literally means little Christ. A lot of people ‘believe’ in Christ, but thats only half of the battle. For instance, one can believe in the lawn mower all they want, but that won’t get the lawn mowed. Faith is takes off where belief only begins. yes, i believe that jesus existed. But that Jesus existed does not mean that the bible is the word of god, nor does it equal that he was god in flesh, son of god, nor does it mean that any “miracles” are credible.
nor do i believe that the bible, a collection of writings gathered by John, formerly saul, translated from aramaic, greek, ancient hebrew , into latin and later greek, were complete. we barely know what Mary, who had scrolls but were poorly preserved, realy had to say about being among the very first christians.

Why does everyone continue in life to argue about if theres a true religion. Or which religion is better. Has anyone ever thought that if you reach heaven, that there may not be a religion at all. But, simply a way of life. I think man created the word religion to influence people for their own personal gains. I believe in the GODS. And respect them and all living things around me. And no, I’m not a tree hugger or hipi.
But, I do think the GODS have sent messangers down from time to time to try to teach us the way of LIFE. I haven’t read in any religion that the GODS say to ever kill in the name. And I don’t believe they would. Human’s in my opinion, act worst than animals and more like savages. I do believe in defending yourself. But, time has proven violence doesn’t cure violence. If I may try to Quote The Enlighten One, ” You can attract more bee’s with, honey than you can with vinager”. What I’m really trying to get at is simple. Quit fighting, arguing and so forth over irrelavent things in life and ask yourself what our world really needs. And then go out and start acting on it.
I think love, compasion and maybe just being truthful to all is a good place to start. Think about hard ” TRUTHFUL”. It seems that most humans rather hear a lie than the truth. Actually, Christian means “like Christ”. Your definition is inherently flawed, because, just to “accept(s) Christ” means little, in and of itself. To genuinely be Christian means to be changed (converted) into a person becoming like Christ.

The alleged archway you speak of is supposedly the entrance to Jerusalem. It does not exist, this is a myth. You can consult the Jerome Biblical Commentary which is reference material compiled by Catholic scholars or Abingdon’s Interpreter’s Bible compiled by Protestant scholars.
