Specific to THIS car (the one IN the picture, not others that look the same), it is the one that ran the Gumball 3000 in May of last year. That picture, like I said, was taken in the Gansevoort hotel’s driveway.
I’m sure there is a gold one in Dubai. There are tons of vinyl wrapped cars in Dubai (this is not paint BTW, it is a wrap – just like the gold Lambo LM002 and Scuderia, which doesn’t belong to the Veyron owner.
I spent 8 days with that car in May, I’m pretty familiar with it.

That car does NOT belong to the guy with the gold Lambo LM (the and the Scuderia doesn’t even belong to him). The Bugatti is the same one that was on the Gumball, and it isn’t paint, it is vinyl. That picture is from the portico at the Gansevoort hotel in Miami where the final leg of the Gumball 3000 ended in 2009.
The gold Lambo SUV is located in Washington state and is owned by the owner of NW Auto Salon and the gold Scuderia is in NorCal (Palo Alto) and owned by musician Knick Jim (also the co-owner/co-founder of Luxury4Play.com).
The Scuderia and LM002 were done in gold wraps for a shorter/smaller rally called the Gold Rush. The owner of the LM002 also wrapped his Arial Atom in gold. Both the LM002 and the Scuderia owners have been featured in Heavy Hitters magazine.
Just thought I’d clarify.
