Tasered In Court While Cuffed And With Leg Irons
THE DIRTY ARMY: LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A courtroom defendant accussed of threatening a prosecutor was restrained with a Taser Wednesday.
Percy Phillips, 44, who was in handcuffs and leg irons at the time, jumped out of his chair and knocked over a table while threatening prosecutor John Balliet, sheriff’s officials said.
Jefferson County sheriff’s Deputy Bill Greer attempted to restrain Phillips. Then deputy More..George Thornton used his Taser on Phillips, who immediately fell to the floor incapacitated.
Phillips was in court for a competency hearing on charges of threatening a witness and being a persistent felony offender.

The “old man” jumped back because the defendant was probably being shocked with a tazer belt, which goes under his jumpsuit. That is why he looks like he got shocked, but this seemed to be ineffective against the defendant, so they shot him with the tazer.
I think he was upset because the first words out of his nouth were “Bengals”. Either he plays for the Bengals and the prosecutor screwed up and said he played for the Browns or he doesn’t like being grouped together with the players on the Bengals because of there obvious good samaratin work
