I don’t believe its Steve who knows about healthy relationships. Its his mother’s wisdom and guidance that brings the authentic feel to the love advice he gives to needy coulples and singles. He repeatedly shows that he has issues with a large ego and anger on his show all the time. To be a sucessfull matchmaker one has to be an agressive opinion giver and that’s it. Steve is probably a nice guy too, but he is very young and still in the just-having-fun state of his life.
