90% of schools have 7 and quite a few have 8. It’s one extra home game and it’s not “frowned upon.” It happens to every school at some point.

Majority of the schedules are also made years in advance. So certain schools could be good the year the are scheduled and in the shi*tter when they actually play, so you can’t be at fault for that. But I see where you’re coming from as far as SOS and 8 home games obviously being an advantage.
USC deserves its #4 ranking. I am predicting a championship game between USC and which ever school makes it out of the Big 12.

Well, the offense might actually suck this year. Without having to respect Harvin, you can load the box. No one fears Tebow as a passer, but they did fear Harvin. But with a D that GREAT, you don’t need a lot of offense, just a solid one. And Tebow can do that with help or not.
Agreed. Plus they have Rainey and Demps at RB who are burners. They’re going to be tough to beat and not having to play Ole Miss is a huge advantage.

I agree with your USC LSU comment. LSU was awful last year, and they have no QB. USC is rebuilding, they won’t touch top 10. They are lucky they play in the Pac-10 or they would have 4 losses.

usc will dominate like always. they defense is strong and look at their backfield. stafon, joe mcknight, and avery. plus they got aaron corp, a very good qb with an excellent backup in true freshman matt barkely.
OSU’s whole season depends on how their defense develops. Their offense is one of the top 5 offenses in the country and can score points on anyone in college football.

Oklahoma State has probably the best QB/RB/WR combo in the nation. They are going to be better than most people expect. USC in the TITLE GAME though!

I actually think OU of all teams is the dark horse to win the NC. Not for obvious reasons, but for their DEFENSE. For once OU looks like thy will have a solid D. They return their whole D-line and All conference LB’s. They were second in all of college football last year in take aways, and sacks. Their Secondary struggled at times. It all depends on their very young Secondary. And not to mention their new O-line.
