Compared to the 340 a paycheck my brother who lives in the US pays for his family’s healthcare. AND in Canada there is still private healthcare that you can purchase if you don’t like the public option. and there are private dr’s as well here in Montreal you can goto. and even though public health doesn’t cover the private costs. those dr’s are still more affordable than US. I have never “WAITED” or gone without medical care on a gov’t plan. My father lives in New Brunswick and has alzheimer’s. They had him in an experimental new treatment and send a nurse out 4 hours a day every day of the week to help my mom out with him.
Few months ago I hurt my knee and went to the dr. I got an MRI the NEXT WEEK. there are exceptions and complaints to every system people. but there is a reason that the founder of canada’s healthcare was voted as the greatest canadian a few years back.
