Nik, I called the consulate for you. They said since the US started denying Canadians with DUIs sometime around 2006 for no reason, they have become more stringent as well.
It’s hit or miss basically, they could wave you through at the border, or they could detain and deny you. Your best bet is driving. 4 hour drive from Seattle to Vancouver or you could fly into Bellingham.
