THE DIRTY ARMY: Alright Nik, I’m not usually one to rag on anyone but I have been having an ongoing personal feud with Ra sushi for quite some time now. For almost a year I have refused to go to RA because of the terrible treatment I received, countless times I was charged for food and drinks I didn’t order and the happy hour prices apparently didn’t exist for me. Well my friends were able to convince me to go there thursday night with them and guess what happened….FOOD POISONING….Out of the 4 of us who went 2 got sick, my friend (who won’t let me mention his name thinking he will get blacklisted from the place) and I…The only 2 who ate the Yellowtail and Tuna …Both my friend and I were vomiting by the end of the night (not from the booze) and both of us ended up leaving work early and in bed sick with cold sweats and a fever the rest of the night. When the runs came the next morning I was obviously pissed, it ruined my weekend (and I was supposed to meet up with a chick!!), got me sick as a dog and when I went into see them about this they said there was nothing they could do. Clearly RA gave me the food poisoning, they still act like d*cks, they shut the door in my face won’t compensate me in anyway for ruining my weekend and I’m sure would treat me even worse if I went back…So my feud with RA continues, what do you suggest I do Nik? Did anyone else who went to Ra on thursday night get sick?? lets take these f*ckers down..and Chris W. (the unmentionable friend) stop being a p*ssy what is Ra gunna do to you…
This is why I only order California Rolls. Anybody else from the DIRTY ARMY almost die last Thursday?- nik

You sound like an asshole regular who never tips, I know the servers at m restaurant would be happy if you didn’t grace it with your presence

So bizzare how all the “supporters” of RA are all a bunch of vicious dicks.
to Roosterduh says:
ever hear of Sapporo, dumbass?

My husband got food poisoning at the Kierland location. We called to let them know about it and management did not seem phased by this information at all. I have not been back since then.

I thought food was good during the reign of Benihana. Not sure why or how but noticed Old Town Scottsdale Ra going downhill quality wise in the last 3 years or so. Never expected much service wise but they got the job done. The ladies working there were always fairly cute and I always saw it as the slightly higher class Hooters of sushi. Spicy Lobster roll just isn’t what it used to be. Never got sick, so thankfully I didn’t have to wipe my *ss raw due to Ra.
to Former RA FanCaptain Logic says:
Every sushi menu in the country BLATANTLY states that “consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs, may increase your risk for food borne illness”. This is a risk which you, the eater, decide to take every time you shovel that stuff into your mouth. Expecting a restaurant to take “serious action” because you gambled a weekend of the sh*ts for some tuna and lost, is ridiculous and shows nothing but a lack of personal accountability and responsibility.

i’m a server at RA and you sound like douche bag customer who makes me wanna kill myself cuz you couldn’t handle your one sake bomber and leaves 5%. Glad you feel that way, one less sh*tty customer to deal with.
to AnonymousAnonymous says:
umm you are eating raw fish dum@ss… there are warnings. Working in a restaurant I know this. and on top of that it takes more than a few hours for food poisoning to kick in.
to AnonymousAnonymous says:
i worked at ra and i agree food, service and all sorts of managment and business skills sucks. half their rolls are stored in a fridge behind sushi bar…its old raw fish of course your going to get sick. nothing is better in the ra.

probably someone who got fired for being a dbag
to ra ra dadadara ra dadada says:
It takes no less than 24 hours to begin feeling any effects of food poisoning. When people say that they were throwing up shortly after consumption they are either getting sick off of something previously consumed, or they are just flat out liars. Before anyone throws out food poisoning, you may want to get your facts straight.
to ra ra dadadaAnonymous says:
you can’t get food poisoning 3 hours after eating it. it takes 36 hours at least! sorry buddy RA was not the culprit.
