THE DIRTY ARMY: Alright Nik, I’m not usually one to rag on anyone but I have been having an ongoing personal feud with Ra sushi for quite some time now. For almost a year I have refused to go to RA because of the terrible treatment I received, countless times I was charged for food and drinks I didn’t order and the happy hour prices apparently didn’t exist for me. Well my friends were able to convince me to go there thursday night with them and guess what happened….FOOD POISONING….Out of the 4 of us who went 2 got sick, my friend (who won’t let me mention his name thinking he will get blacklisted from the place) and I…The only 2 who ate the Yellowtail and Tuna …Both my friend and I were vomiting by the end of the night (not from the booze) and both of us ended up leaving work early and in bed sick with cold sweats and a fever the rest of the night. When the runs came the next morning I was obviously pissed, it ruined my weekend (and I was supposed to meet up with a chick!!), got me sick as a dog and when I went into see them about this they said there was nothing they could do. Clearly RA gave me the food poisoning, they still act like d*cks, they shut the door in my face won’t compensate me in anyway for ruining my weekend and I’m sure would treat me even worse if I went back…So my feud with RA continues, what do you suggest I do Nik? Did anyone else who went to Ra on thursday night get sick?? lets take these f*ckers down..and Chris W. (the unmentionable friend) stop being a p*ssy what is Ra gunna do to you…

However, are we really ignoring the fact that the person who sent in this e-mail is a bigger loser than anyone that has anything to do with RA? I personally think RA sucks, and I only eat Phoenix Sushi (if thats what you call it here) at Yasu. That doesnt change the fact that this guy seems like the biggest loser in this situation.

Sakana is the best in town, either location. Their sashimi portions are huge, their rolls are tight like a tiger, and their prices are beyond reasonable. Me and the wifey eat there every week. I had the same thing happen twice in Texas where I live but I had a crazy rapid heart rate, cold sweats, fainting and vomiting. I was told that I may have had mercury poisoning from the fish. I first thought it was from poor hand washing by the staff handling the food but we may be on to something here……sometimes sushi restaurants buy fish from China that may be contaminated…think about the dog food scare and the baby milk tampering scandal.
