They are both on the football team however neither of them actually play, and they are both total CREEPS. Waymon CONSTANTLY texts girls who have no idea how he got their number and Justin was suspended for a few games because he was accused of raping a white girl. I guess they have also given up on football careers and decided to just become thieves since they both steal from EVERYONE. TCU is ghetto. About two years ago, my friend and I went to Neon Moon in downtown fort worth and there was this enormous group of really drunk people from TCU there. They all came together on a bus or something? There were all dressed weird, it was some kind of theme party. Anyway, the girls all looked skanky and beat. Saw at least two pop a squat and pee outside.

It is obvious here that student athletes on scholarship have no income and have to do things to get money. Two jackasses who either already have or will soon lose their scholarships do not shape a school’s reputation, especially considering I haven’t heard a peep about these two, and its a small campus so those kind of accusations get around pretty quick. And if you feel unsafe around campus you probably are scared of your own shadow.

The crime rate is a product of people not associated with the school committing crimes on or near our campus. Yes, we have had a few incidents among ourselves, but most of the crime comes from the hangerson who live just outside a one mile radius from the campus

This type of stuff has been going on for years and years!!!! I went graduated from TCU several years ago. The school routinely hushes up sh*t the football players do. Rapes, beatings, even murder. Do some research! The football players are treated like kings who can do no wrong, it’s ridiculous.
Texas Christian has a great reputation, not only is it extremely hard to get into because the professors and the individual colleges within the school are exceptional, most notably the Neeley School of Business. While it is true the football team is a group of dirty manwhores black OR white, the white players have never been accused of forcing themselves on anyone or stealing even the ones who are not from wealthy families. Even the stereotypically wild and promiscuous frat boys are still Southern gentlemen. Tcu needs to get their priorities straight and think of their female students safety before the so called talent for the football team. You can take the boy from the hood, but even in one of the most respected private universities in the south you cant take the hood from the boy.
extremely hard to get into?? my gf got in this school with a 3.2 GPA. doesnt say much about the school. not to mention she tells me regularly someone has gotten raped or someone has died. makes me worry about her safety.
All of this is pretty sad and Its a shame it all came about because of TCU football players. If you look at any football team across the NCAA or NFL, you’re gonna have a few bad apples. TCU is a great place and has produced some exceptional players who went off to great careers on and off the field.
I’m a proud alum and know that TCU will continue to produce excellence in all areas. This Website and the people writing down these comments just show me how far we have not come. Waymon james has never been to jail in his life and makes great grades at TCU. He is a very bright young man who has a family who cares about him and love him and to see this website slander his name is a shame. As a grad student and a tutor, I know both Justin and Waymon well. Neither has been charged with any sexual assault, nor have complaints been filed against them. While both are the products of poor rural backgrounds and have subsequent issues with which to deal, each does what they can to improve. Both are good people, and I am proud to have worked with each and to call them a friend.
As for the crime rate around tcu’s campus, the overwhelming majority of crimes committed on or near campus are by people not associated with the school. It’s the wannabes who followed tcu girls around who continually stalk them, spy on them from the parking lot, and show up at bars near the campus to galk at them. Maybe if the nearby losers would get a life and realize they have no chance with tcu girls, the crime rate would go down.
Also, how about all of you losers quit stealing our car stereos. They are not that expensive, just a pain to replace

Stereotypes and labels are so much easier to use than they are effective. So is the use of stats, so be careful using and putting too much stock in them. As a statistics major, I can tell you that I can take the same set of stats and give them to two people with opposite beliefs to support their arguments. I’m not posting to try to change your mind about how you think or to refute what you say is happening. In fact, I am sure that there is a kernal of truth in much of what is sad. TCU like all college campuses has crime, drunken students and a over priviledged athletic department. Do I think they cover up stories; sure. The point though is that all universities do the same thing. Name any university out there and we can all find examples of everything you are posting here. You can even find the same double justice in the NFL, NBA and Hollywood. It sucks that we live in a society that allows such double standards for the “priviledged” few, but we are a part of that society that is letting it happen while we sit back and cut each other down in blogs like this. If you have posted a hate, rage filled blog here, stop and ask yourself if you continue to go to the game, buy the CDs, attend the concerts, watch the movies of those people who commit and get away with crimes. Nik, you’re wrong about TCU being ghetto. The way you spell your alias, now that’s ghetto. For the record, TCU only recruits said nig-nogs from the ghetto because they help us win The Rose Bowl. They are secluded to pretty much one dorm and as long as you aren’t an athlete the only other two places you have to worry about running into them is in the main cafeteria and/or communications classes. So, my advice to all of you idiots who can’t avoid them, quit eating like the rest of the females at TCU or stop being stupid and change majors.
Also, TCU might not have a Top 50 business school, but I would be willing to bet that our endowment fund is much bigger than yours. Which, in case you are still enrolled in that Public Speaking class, means that we have more money that your broke ass, hardly the most ghetto of attributes.
