It totally hit me today that for the first time in my life i genuinly do not care what others think or say about me. You can spend your whole life trying to please others but at the end of the day if you are not happy, what does it matter? No matter what you do in life everyone will have their opinion, good or bad. This is especially predominant when you put yourself out there, ie: modeling. I have realized that all the women that disagree with what i do and how i look are simply unhappy with themselves. I will never know why people feel jealousy and the need to bring another person down and try to make them less of a person. Why must we put our insecurities on another person to make ourselves feel better? For anyone that disagrees with how i look or what i do, just know that i have worked my ass off to achieve my goals with my body. I know what its like to be overweight and to feel unattractive, what its like to look at someone else and wish i looked like them. BUT instead of hating on them i realized that i too can look good if i want. I worked hard mentally and physically (and continue to do so) to achieve my goals. And so can anyone if they put their mind to it. Its not easy, but i strongly agree anything in life worth having is worth fighting for. To anyone that has to gossip or talk crap about someone think about why you are actually doing it. Chances are its because you are not happy with your life, your career or how you look.
Its so true that what doesnt kill you will only make you stronger. For all the negativity that i have experienced his i changed my body and started to persue my dreams i have become so much stronger and it has gotten me to where i am today: not caring about what anyone thinks. I am living my life for myself and excited to see where my hard work and drive takes me!
