I think the problem is this: The last 2 years of Bush, the true crisis our nation was in was downplayed to the MAX. They didn’t want to advertise how bad they had run us into the ground, no one would want to admit that. We were really much, much worse than was freely admitted. I think this lead to many just thinking we had a glitch for 6 months with the stock market and the real estate industry and that it should have fixed itself by now.
We voted for change 2 years ago, now this week we voted for the exact opposite. And people wonder why things aren’t “fixed” and why we can’t dig ourselves out. LOL
