THE DIRTY ARMY: Hey Nik, the Bellagio got robbed for nearly $2million in chips. The guy was wearing a motorcycle helmet and seems to have gotten away with it so far. How long do you think it will take to catch this guy and do you think they will report that they caught him or do you think if they find him they will take care of this guy old school vegas style?
They wont catch him. If this is who I think it is… that 2 million is gone.- nik

Spatty says:
Sounds like the Night Fox pulled this off…
to Spattyivan says:
Lmao if he really does get away with it, that’s awesome shieet
to ivanTyler says:
Damn! Where the hell was security!?
to TylerAnonymous says:
uh….George Clooney? LOL…don’t act like you know Nik.
to AnonymousStuuuuupid says:
Chris angel as a joke to headline his new show at the bellagio of corse… Haha
to Stuuuuupidlotsofluck says:
He can’t just cash them can he? What the heck will he do with the chips? other casinos?…Don’t they monitor all that
to lotsofluckThe Real Truth says:
Assuming it’s a man…
he can’t cash the chips at any casino other than the bellagio… Also no one is tracking anything. It would cost more to find the chips than the chips are worth.
to The Real TruthThe Real Truth says:
But as far as this guy being caught… Yes, it will happen. The bellagio just isn’t going out of there way to track useless chips.
to The Real Truthstig says:
they can be cashed anywhere on the strip…that’s why they are taking a huge sh*t.
to stigAnonymous says:
The high value chips will not be cashed by anyone in Vegas or even Reno.
to AnonymousAnonymous says:
how can you walk into a casino with a helmet on and not have any security notice it at 4 am when there is no action going on. the guy has on white gloves too. Anyways, no way he can launder those chips , maybe the 100 but not the higher denominations, they all have a tracking device on it
to AnonymousDisco Stu says:
stop talking out of your ass, chips do not have tracking devices on them. Regardless, it’s not going to be easy for this guy to wash those chips into cash.
to Disco StuInsecurity says:
Every high value casino chip has an RFID chip inside it with a unique serial number. These can be read from significant (10s of meters) distances with high powered readers. Your chips can be read as you walk through the casino or down the strip.
Something smells here.
to Insecuritytruth says:
chips didn’t have rfid’s in them, they will be sold on the black market. people try to say drug money causes terrorism, this will actually fund terrorist acts.
to truthAnonymous says:
Truth, your name should be “idiot”. Every Bellagio chip has the tracker. When I cashed in 1,000 chip they not only called the table i played, put it through a hologram, checked the id# on the chip..idiot. You really must be a 12/hr worker if you believe the casinos dont prepare themselfs for an event like this with big marked chips. I bet they put a press release saying they arent marked so the robber would come back and feel safe cashing them, but then again you are “the truth” which really correlates to you being anything but educated.
to AnonymousAnonymous says:
^^You’re right
to AnonymousSimon says:
BS—They always catch them!
to Simonrealtalk says:
he’ll probably get caught when he tries to exchange his chips for money at the local bank
to realtalkAnonymous says:
realtalk = realstupid. you really think you can walk into a Bank of America and exchange casino ships for cash?
to AnonymousJim says:
Must have been a white guy, a feral, black jungle beast doesn’t have the smarts to pull this off.
to Jimchachacha says:
Really? This is what entered your mind when you read this post? Then you felt the thought so great that you typed it out and posted it? Amazing.
to chachachaTheTruthHurts says:
I’m with Anonymous #1. Nik, stop trying to act like some super cool Vegas Insider. It was pathetic enough earlier in the year when you acted like you could run Hard Rock and were giving them ‘advice’ on how to run their clubs and restaurants – now you allegedly know criminals pulling multi-million jobs in town? Come on. Please call Metro with your theory – sure they’ll have a good laugh. Going to be hard to launder that many chips without accomplices – and not have one of them screw up.
to TheTruthHurtsAnonymous says:
I agree 100%. This little worm thinks he is somebody in Vegas when he hosts little parties, but he has never has dealt with a real adult in that city.
to AnonymousBilly says:
“if this is who i think it is” oh because YOU know him. you’re such a star nik. you little acne scarred idiot.
to BillyAnon E Mouse says:
He would have been better off stealing an orange Lamborghini. lol
Completely useless considering the only place you can cash them is The Bellagio and many of those chips have RFID tags.
I bet they are driving through the neighborhoods right now with handheld scanners looking for those chips and whoever took them.
Have fun in a hole in the desert.
to Anon E MouseAnonymous says:
stealing chips? whats the point of stealing something when the only place you can use them is the place you stole them from?
to AnonymousAnonymous says:
Except they track chips these days, so basically that was pointless. He will be caught whether he tries to cash them, or sell them.
to AnonymousDA Vegas Bitch says:
I’m from here…born & raised & work at a casino on the strip. Nik is right this money is gone already. Tracking chips is to track tourist revenue….nothing is procedure in vegas it DOES NOT EXIST its for show for the gaming control board.
to DA Vegas BitchAnonymous says:
I work at a casino in Vegas and have never heard of being able to cash your chips at another casino. That makes no sense what-so-ever. Why would the Rio pay out on the Wynn’s chips? The casinos are mostly owned by different companies/individuals.
to AnonymousKiller B says:
you, sir or madam, are retarded. working at the gift shop at imperial palace doesnt exactly count as ‘working at a casino in Vegas’. all the casinos honor eachothers chips.
to Killer BAnonymous says:
You must be the janitor then because its been standard practice for years for other casinos to honor each others chips. As for all these people talking about the RFID chips, anyone with a internet connection and $20 can get a device that kills any rfids.
to AnonymousSure says:
Ya, im sure you know who did it Nik..But know one else so he won’t be caught. You run a blog…not Vegas.
to SureAnonymous says:
does anyone know what george clooney or brad pitt were doing at the time??
to AnonymousAnonymous says:
George Clooney was saving Africa and Brad Pitt was baby sitting Zahara.
to AnonymousRobert M says:
LMAO!!! Great post!
to Robert MKing Vaseline says:
if nik does know who this is, then is he not committing obstruction of justice?
to King VaselineKiller B says:
the things that people will actually sit down, type, and press post to always amazes me. was that satisfying King?
to Killer Bthe dude says:
Killer B … see all your comments and you are the only one that has any sense in this whole arena here. The things some idiots actually type.
to the dudeChris says:
He mostly took rarely used $25k chips that will be impossible to cash in. He won’t be able to cash in most of what he took, and it was 1.5mil not 2mil
to ChrisAnonymous says:
The Doug they’re looking for is a white.
to AnonymousGroovy says:
I was talking about this last night. That dude is my hero. Hope they never find him. Takes some big ol balls to pull that off.
to Groovyboston bad boy says:
nik at first i thought it was you who did it because the size of the guys head, then i found out he was wearing a helmet, sorry
to boston bad boyProfessor of Ignorance says:

the dude says:
you sir are the King of ignorance bringing politics here.
to the dudedirty matt says:
OK here is the deal. If you have chips from an MGM property you can cash them at any MGM property.
Up untill 5 years ago all casinos would take other casinos chips. There was a service that use to come once a month and collect all the other chips and trade your out etc. They went out of business.
There is no tracking device on the chips. RFID maybe but you wont be able to track the chips based on that. The RFID is used to fight against card counting. They have software that watches your betting when you are playing blackjack. (Live Games)
This whole thing started in 2008-2009. The first guy walked into the Las Vegas Hilton on paradise and hit a cage in the sports book and got 500K. He parked his bike outside the door got off and walked in. He stuck up a cage in the sports book at 5am. The strange thing is that this cage was located next to a door in a part of the casino that was empty at that hour. That cage is now closed. The guy had a motor cycle helmet on the whole time and got away with it. From what I understand they found the bike ditched on the east side but they never caught him.
If you read the book “Storming Las Vegas” you can find out about the first Bellagio robbery by Jose Vigoa. He robbed Bellagio, DI, NYNY and a bunch of banks and armored cars. He was the one who started it all but he always robbed the cage and never took chips he always took cash.
to dirty mattyoko says:
you can cash chips in at other casinos if they are under a 100$(normal policy) they want you to cash in and spend the money there, not the original casino you recieved them from. But this guy recieved casino chips of high denomination like 25,000. you cant just be anybody and walk in anywhere and cash those in. Even pawn shops will be looking out. Vegas isnt stupid, money is their business.
to yokoo hai der says:
I have a strong suspicion that this was done by a poker player. Bellagio happen to be the chips that are universally used as currency. And to cash $5ks, u need to show your MGM mIrage ID and show play that would result in you having one of those chips. He will be able to cash the blacks, purples, and yellows. Cranberries $25k and flags $5k, no shot.
to o hai dertop flight says:
Ok, for those of you who dont actually work security or know what youre talking about youre all ignorant. casinos DO you chips inside the chips to track them, you CAN cash chips at other casinos, there still is a service where a gentlemen or lady comes to the casino to do a thing called a chip exchange where they pick up all the chips from said casino that other guests have brought and cashed from other peoperties. if anything, bellagio will track all the people in the players club and track what theyve bet and cancel out all the chips on the floor and make new ones while contacting every other establishment and letting them know not to cash bellagio chips. it probably costs 1/1000 to make new chips for the entire casino then what was stolen, dont worry theres plenty of other ways for the casino to cover their 6.
toodles
