OK, putting western thought aside (that the sex-trade is wrong), is it right for young girls to sell their bodies as a means to putting food on the table when, at their young age, it is essentially impossible for them to know the future repercussions of their actions: sense of self-loathing for partaking in such actions, social reputation, potential bodily harm, reproductive health, and potential pregnancy?
Just because one must do it, as in the case of these girls, does not make the act universally right; unless, you think it’s okay to take advantage of those who are relatively naive, desperate and young.
Also, I realize prostitution has been around for ages. To really understand why it is wrong, one must detach from their ego and identify with sex-trade workers. It would not be a good life to put it lightly.
