Andrew Luck Is An Idiot

THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, can you believe Andrew Luck is skipping the NFL Draft and he would have been the #1 pick hands down. What an idiot I think to myself, what if he gets hurt? He is basically saying I don’t want 50 million dollars next year, id rather learn and be a nerd. Like seriously what the hell is his problem?
He deserves to get injured now. The window of opportunity waits for no one.- nik

The person who put this about Luck is a dumbass or a college dropout. You r just an ignorant who probably doesnt do anything of your life
Andrew Luck is making a huge mistake of not entering the NFL Draft this year. Not only is the mistake financial but it is a huge health risk. The financial impact will be millions of dollars depending on what the Collective Bargaining Agreement is next year. Then there is his health. If he gets hurt, he loses not only millions but the possiblity of even playing pro football in the future. Let me paint you a picture, if he goes pro now, he maximizes his earning potential and still retains his ability to finish his degree at Stanford in 2 years. So basically, it takes him another 6 months to get his Architecture degree. You ask any Business Professor at Stanford to analyze this case study and they would agree he should go pro. It is the only move which guarantees all of his options. Stanford is one of the top 5 Universites in this county, no one questions that. A degree from there is special, no one questions that. Being the #1 pick in the NFL Draft can not be guaranteed by Stanford if Andrew Luck stays one more year, no one can question that. The Risk outways the Reward. Andrew, if you read this website please understand that when it comes to your financial future, the only person you owe is yourself. Stanford, your friends, and your parents can not guarantee anything but love and support. It is a wonderful thing. But at the end of the day, the only important thing is what opportunity will maximize your potential in life. Look at what Coach Harbaugh just did minutes ago, he left you and Stanford to maximize his personal potential. That is called living the dream. If you actually do come back next year and not go pro, Good Luck, Luck…pardon the pun.
+1 well said!
I want to punch you in the face. it’s nothing personal, its just something about you that makes me want to give you a nice knuckle sandwich
exactly plus with the rookie cap and the labor stuff its to much unknown..
ON POINT…
agree
sam bradford played 3 games due to injury in a season where he opted to come back and play instead of enter the draft…the next year he signed a deal for $78 million. nik, your and idiot when it comes to football. but your a pro at tearing people down. stick with what you know.
Hey dimwit! You do KNOW that the NFL will be having labor strife after the Super Bowl, don’t you? And that the one change everyone expects in two yrs is no more big signing bonuses for rookies. So Luck should have gone out this yr and gotten paid. And if he really wants his degree, there’s something called Summer School. Go back to rounding up the shopping carts at Wal-Mart, toolbag…
its not about the money dumb ass its about the skill you have to earn your money and even if luck didnt go to the draft he would still make hella bank out in the work world
There is a reason he went to that school, he wants his degree, there is nothing wrong with that, he wants a fall back. He probably has a great family and didn’t grow up like a hood rat trying to think all about money and football is there way out of the ghetto. He is going to a great school. leave him alone~
p.s I hope he rips it up next year!!
Dear poster….does the name Sam Bradford ring a bell? You know Heisman trophy winner who came back for his junior season at Oklahoma, only to have his shoulder injured in the first game and miss the entire season…you know the guy who ended up going # 1 in the NFL draft and just broke Peyton’s record for most completions by a rookie? Yeah that guy…f’ing retard go back to school and learn what the word ingnorant means since you can’t use it correctly in a sentence.
You cant guarantee Luck will have the same outcome…it is ignorant to assume so!
Does the name Matt Leinart or Jake Lockler ring a bell?
I would not say that the poster is completely wrong. Luck is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in architectural design, a degree that he can easily finish up while he is in the NFL. How much is a bachelor’s degree of any kind really worth these days? The amount of money that he could possibly be leaving on the table completely dwarfs that degree’s worth. I am not saying being college educated is not worth it; because it is, it makes you all around a better individual. I went all the way through and I am glad I did, but I also did not have the type of opportunity presented to me, like what is being offered to Mr. Luck. Being educated is important just overall. However, I agree with Nik, nothing is guaranteed and life waits for no one. Ask people like Jake Lockner, Matt Leinhart and various others who decided to wait a year and then ended up going much lower in the draft then they would have, if they would have declared after their junior year. There is just too much money involved not to grab that opportunity when it presents itself.
The NFL will have a lockout next year. Drafted+lockout=broke, unemployed and no degree.
Smartest thing said on this post so far. This is THE reason.
This is exactly right. There will be a lockout. Janoris Jenkins from gators is staying also. And Jack Del Rio remains head coach for jaguars? No one wants to make any new moves because of the possible “lockout” the players union president is telling the players to hold their money and stop acting like rockstars because they need the funds. You never know but wise joice by some college players
Uhh he will take out an insurance policy just in case he does get hurt. Either way he will get paid
See Jake Locker. 2010 number one pick. Goes back. Bradford steps in gets mad money. Jake has horrible year and now he’d be lucky to go in the 2nd round. Matty Leinhart same dumb story. GO BACK TO SCHOOL AFTER. You’ll have plenty of money to do whatever you’d like.
The submitter of this post does not know s&^%!!!!! A–There is, most likely, going to be a rookie wage scale (and he will not get $50 million); and B–if there is football at all next year (which is a whole different topic altogether–if there is no football, the NFLPA and owners are all dumbasses for cutting off the head of their golden goose)!!!
Andrew’s father played in the NFL and has also been very successful after the NFL. Money isn’t important to him because his family already has money so he doesn’t view it the same as us.
Deserves? Nik you’re the worst kinda hater.
Andrew’s father played in the NFL and has done very well for himself after his playing career. His family has money and has always had money so for him turning the big dollars down is not as big of deal to him as it is to us.
The bigger questions is how does someone from West Virgina get accepted at Stanford…..
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, so true
By going to good schools in Europe and high school in Houston? You really don’t know much about the guy.
I’m going to reiterate a lot of what has already been said #1. Since the kid goes to Stanford, there’s a damned good chance that he already comes from money, therefore his view on the importance of the dollar is a bit skewed. If he would have grown up dirt poor in the ghetto, he would have bolted as soon as he got word that he was going higher than the 4th round. #2. Sam Bradford got injured his senior year, and STILL went #1 in the draft, no harm no foul. #3 A college degree is still valuable, albeit not in terms of monetary value, but your value as a contributing member of society. PLUS, college is not something you get to do over.
There will be a rookie wage scale next yr after the lockout. So he wasn’t going to get the $50 million anyways. His family is loaded and his dad ran NFL Europe. This kid has the inside scoop and did the right thing. Plus he didn’t want too play for the Panthers.
What an arrogant idiot, he’s going to go to school to finish his education and have something to fall back on. It’s right in front of his face, he’s trying to be too much of a superstar captain amazing by choosing the “right” thing. I hope he breaks his femur in class trying to be more of a hero.
Yeah, what an arrogant idiot for making his own personal decision regarding college. How dare him think for himself and do what is best for him and his family.
You are a pathetic loser and I pity you, hoping this young guy breaks his femur? You are nothing but a jealous, nameless, faceless, nobody.
Everyone is missing the point…. he stayed in college because he doesn’t want to play for the Panthers. And for that, I applaud him.
Now he is gonna play for the colts
Everyone thinks that it is a mistake bc of the money is misinformed..The players and NFL owners must agree on a new CBA this offseason..one of the things the owners want and will most likely get is a rookie wage scale (no more $50 mil for any draft picks)..and any player drafted this april will not be signed until after the labor deal goes down, so for everyone to say he would be getting 50 mil this april are incorrect, he wouldnt be gettin it anyway, he loves being “the man” at stanford, the NFL can wait
I think this show how classy luck is. that should show that everyone isnt just out to make money anyway they can then realize they still hate things and make everyone else miserable with their money.
Andrew Luck would not have been the first draft in the NFL lottery…
oh yeah he would have…. we have been on his nuts since the get go (carolina) and since weve got that #1 pick and no qb seeing as how clausen is an ass clown, luck was our big hope….. jerry richardson is coming off the hip this up coming season and we’re going to pick up some good players. And if not, my #2 is always the bears so i have a back up plan ha
Did anyone see the homely co-eds they were showing at the Orange Bowl. Another reason to go pro – get away from those pigs.
“The person who put this about Luck is a dumbass or a college dropout. You r just an ignorant who probably doesnt do anything of your life”
….is this what college kids sound like now?
Regardless, you’re an idiot. College will always be there. HUGE MISTAKE.
he will have an insurance policy, and the CBA will probably lock out NFL football next year. His family has money, he might as well stay in college and live the life for another year and get paid next year.
either way this kid is getting his money, if not this year then next. i give him credit, whats the rush? he wants to enjoy his life and take it as it comes.
and no way there is a lockout, tv will not let this happen. guaranteed
like someone already commented, he took out a $50m insurance policy in case of catastrophic injury, Carolina sucks ass and either way he ends up a white male architect trained at Stanford…in other words, he’ll be okay…dont cry for Andrew
All of y’all are idiots! I went to school with andrew and he is an awesome human being. for y’all to wish harm on him just shows that y’all are immature and jealous. He is by far the nicest person you will ever meet and graduated valedictorian in high school. He will be the number one pick in next years draft and he’s not worried about money at all. If y’all new anything about football are watched espn an heard what all of the scouts and ex NFL players have to say then you would understand he is a once in a generation type of player. Peyton Manning himself gave him advice to return. So not only will he be the number one pick next year he will also have an engineering degree from Stanford. Andrew will never be hurting for money , it will never be on his mind. for the dumb ass at the bottom he went to Stratford high school in Houston Texas . Nik I love the site but don’t wish harm on people you sound ignorant and childish especially when it come to sports . stick to gossip
He is a SMART dude. Ya’ll know what the NFL stands for right? Not For Long…I worked my ass off trying to get into the league and played 3 years for KC then was cut. Took all of 2009 to finish my 12 credits before I could get my degree. Better safe than sorry. Currently doing medical sales and without my degree, I wouldnt have had a shot. He just wants a security blanket incase the NFL doesnt pan out. Yes he is taking a risk for getting injured next year in his senior year but I would rather get hurt my senior year and fall back on my STANFORD degree than hit the league and get hurt without that little piece of paper. Smart kid…
How can all you “smart guys” be over looking the fact that once in the NFL and he has his money he can easily still get his degree. The only think he will miss out on is more college football.
Matt luck has money. hes fine he wants to stay in school and enjoy it and graduate from standford, last i checked Nik Standford pretty sweet place to be. And given the choice to have a kick ass year at college and go play for Carolina the choice is pretty clear.
I wouldnt wanna play in Carolina either…smart guy
There is no doubt that he will be the best qb next year. All a ploy that he will end up a niner with good old jim.
ok clearly yall don’t know the kid. i knew him through out high school. he chose Stanford for a reason. take consideration he was a top qb and could have gone a lot of other places. he will be completely fine. money isn’t an issue to him or his family. google who his dad is and you’ll be quick to find out. he’s not some nig who has absolutely nothing going for his life except football so he takes his first chance at pro he gets.
you guys are idiots….he doesn’t want to risk being locked out/playing for Buffalo
bottom line, get paid.
lmfao maybe its because Im Canadian but Im impressed with what he did.. is this how all Americans think? Life isnt just about money.. holy you Americans are pretty gross.
Did everyone forget that there may not be an NFL season next year due to a possible lockout….He could sit around a year and do nothing or finish off his degree and take a chance. Regardless it’s the right move for the kid.
Luck is not a n*gger, so blingbling may not matter as much as a degree from one of the TOP 3 SCHOOLS IN THE WORLD. Like someone mentioned already he has a 50 million dollar insurance policy out. 30 years from now Andrew Luck will be retired with millions of dollars in the bank and Cam Newton will either be dead/in jail/sucking on a crack pipe without a pot to piss in, it is the n*gger way.
Poster is a pissed-off bitter Carolina fan.
ok well all that being said andrew luck is a class act and has no business being on a site like this, getting his degree and sticking with his team is nothing he should be called out for.
I cant believe there is really any posting going on about this! Really?!!? Lets talk shi about a guy for choosing a Stanford degree over something that will happen anyways. I played professional baseball for two seasons. I gave up a UC Berkeley scholarship to go and play. Now I am done playing baseball after a family hardship and have neither to fall back on. Get that education. That sht is priceless. Footballs not going anywhere. And for all who don”t agree, fck off!
Who ever is bashing Andrew Luck for this decision… Have fun working in his garden one day your ignorant jackasses
Colt McCoy stayed his Senior year…and look what happened…
Andrew luck is an idiot.. Outstanding
Somebody necessarily assist to make significantly articles I’d state. That is the very first time I frequented your web page and to this point? I surprised with the research you made to make this particular publish incredible. Magnificent task!
all of you are faggots. let the dude do what he wants to do.
