THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, this is Michael Cuddyer, a pitcher for the Minnesota Twins. He is a real jerk. My 12 year old son wanted an autograph from him, and Michael told him to get lost. I lost it. I cursed at him, and I vowed never to go to any baseball game that the Minnesota Twins are playing in.

This is crap. First, Cuddyer is NOT a pitcher. Second, this guy spends more time communicating with fans than most people. Even on his twitter feed, he spends a good portion of each day responding. He is probably one of the more down to earth athletes out there.
Fact check this one please and there are two sides to every story. Whos to say that this 12 year old kid wasnt disrespectful or what really happened?

Have any idea how many autographs even the most spare athelete turns down every day? They have to for the sake of getting ANYTHING done. It sucks, but thats the way life goes sometimes. Instead of taking the opportunity to teach the kid a valuable life lesson, teach him to throw a hissy fit when he doesnt get his way. Why was this posted again?

Koplove sucks! I played against him when he was at the University of Delaware. He was terrible. Sucked on Kevin Mench’s greg and got hit all over the place! He played for Tucson a couple years ago.

This is crap! I also agree with everyone.. You must not be a Twins fan because he is NOT a pitcher. Players get yelled at and asked to sign stuff all the time. Can you imagine how annoying this must seem? So, I’ve noticed most players only respect you if you know their name, which usually means their position. Cuddy spends a lot of time signing stuff for many fans. Maybe he did not have time that one time you asked him. But I doubt he was rude without it being due. He is a great guy.
