Also, the material presented on this website, specifically this page, is considered slander–a definition that the owner of this website should be well aware of considering the recent 11 million dollar settlement presented to a woman from the same area.
The statements specifically reguarding her drug use can be considered, by legal definition, slander. You are unjustfully accusing her of a crime which can be damaging to not only her reputation, but her employment as well. If these statements are not removed, and it results in some loss of employment or defamation, then she can legally recover damages.
As far as releasing her personal information, that is a direct invasion of privacy. An individual’s violation of privacy is constituted as “a) intrusion on one’s solitude or into one’s private affairs; b) public disclosure of embarrassing private information; c) publicity which puts him/her in a false light to the public; d) appropriation of one’s name or picture for personal or commercial advantage.” It can be argued that her entire right to privacy has been invaded–she can legally recover damages.
Anyone that has chosen to contact this individual will be subject to harrassment charges due to the fact that she has not willingly given this information to the public. It violates her safety and her privacy. Contacting her, by any means, would be “a repeated, intrusive or unwanted act that is intended to adversely affect the safety, security or privacy of another”–harrassment. All phone records and messages sent to this number will be stored for future use within a court system. I suggest not contacting this number by any means.

confused on how you can sue the site when this isn’t really slander for one there are no monetary damages to her or anyone yeah harassment can be filed for the phone calls but wouldn’t you think so many more people would sue the site if they could, yeah cause they can’t people can post whatever they want, even if this is removed it’s still going to be everywhere.
There are no monetary damages claimed because the issue hasn’t been taken to court. Monetary damages have already occured, and it is the judge’s decision to render the amount.
The reason why this post is different from others posted on this website is because it directly indicts her for drug use and contains her personal information that could directly affect her reputation in her workplace or personal life–defamation.
That is why she, as opposed to the other people featured on this site, could sue whoever posted this information about her. I understand that sleezebags that actually developed and/or posted on this site have gotten away with posting pictures of girls, believing that they have the right to judge them–but recently this website did get sued for slander by a Northern Kentucky teacher for the amount of 11 million dollars. This post is borderlining three different crimes–slander, violating an individual’s right to privacy, and, if she is contacted, harrassment.
While I understand that filing a claim against the website would be difficult, but it is the website’s responsibillity to moniter the information that is posted. Failure to do so will result in a lawsuit (as the owner should be well aware of).
The individual who posted her phone number is also liable for releasing her personal information, and we have a pretty good idea who it is.
These websites are unfortunate and “uh oh” is correct in saying that this information will still be everywhere. However, it is her legal right to make some effort to put this to an end.
As for the individuals that posted her picture, her information, and even the owner of the site for allowing such things to be posted, one has to question their integrity and maturity. While it is not a crime to be immature and perverted, it is not unreasonable to expect adults to behave in a different manner.
