Jeff Teague (one that watched the door) had a coming out party in the Hawks/Bulls series last week for Atlanta. Girl is airing her story Thursday May 19th at 7:45 AM on The Today Show, it seems. Five teenagers are accused of breaking into a Polk County home, pistol-whipping and robbing the man living there Tuesday afternoon.
The teenagers, four of whom are juveniles, face first-degree robbery charges, Des Moines police said Wednesday.
Police identified the suspects as Temmira L. Morrison, 18; Kaprisha Green, 17, Malik Johnson, 14, Orlando Villarreal, 16, and DeMaitrius Wright, 16. Morrison is in the Polk County Jail on $25,000 bond.
Green, Villarreal and Wright will be tried in adult court, a Polk County Judge ruled Wednesday. Johnson remained in custody with juvenile authorities pending a hearing, police said.
The incident began shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday. A loud noise rustled Francisco Gonzales, 26, from sleep at his home in the 1200 block of 21st Street. Gonzales went to investigated. He was struck in the head with a handgun and fell back into a window. The window shattered.
Five teenagers surrounded Gonzales and demanded money.
