Help Find Our Missing Friend Lauren Spierer
THE DIRTY ARMY: Hi Nik, I am long time DA strong, yet never posted. It is under these terrible circumstances that I was hoping you can help us. We need ALL the help we can get. Our wonderful, beautiful friend Lauren, went missing Friday morning 4:30am from Bloomington, Indiana. She was walking home alone from a party and as it seems, just vanished. She is a UI student and was staying behind for summer school. She has a life threatening heart condition known as Long QT Syndrome and requires medication – we are worried sick that she is hurt, or injured somewhere and may seek this medication. None of the story however, is matching up and we all smell something really, really fishy. She left behind shoes, a wallet and her cell phone. We don’t believe she just vanished off the face of the earth. Someone had to of seen something. Description: 20 year old white female, 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighs between 90 and 100 pounds, slender build, blue eyes, blond hair just below the shoulder, last seen walking barefoot, she had on a white tank-top with a loose light-colored button shirt and black stretch pants. Unfortunately we live in a world of sin and the horrible people that harm others is a result of this. God did not do this, the evil in this world did. And if the reason she is missing is because someone harmed her, then God will punish that person.

i saw this on the news in my city which is San Diego. Reports say she was leaving a BAR drunk at 4:30 in the morning. Why was this 20 year old in the bar. I would start there. They are responsible for whatever has transpired against this girl.

This post is to help find a girl who has gone missing and something terrible may have happened to her, comments on her religious affiliation or race are NOT helping, this is a tragic event and should NOT be used as a platform for such hate. Particularly disturbing are sites like these, which argue freedom of speech to defend hateful speech. I only got here from a student film on cyber bullying and the roll this website has played in the proliferation of the trend.

Not sure that this website was the right forum for posting about Lauren if what the person wanted was hugs and help. I’m from Bloomington and just have to say that the Spierer case is getting way more attention than it deserves. The girl should have known better than to troll around from apartment to apartment..sad that she’s missing but a lot of people in Bloomington are saying just what posters here are writing. We have others missing through NO fault of their own, but all the resources are being used on the little rich blond who couldn’t stay away from the drink, the drugs, and the guys. Gee, no wonder she was a victim of foul play. As for the original poster, again, not the best place to ask for help and sympathy-it’s called ‘the dirty’ for a reason.
