Missing Indiana University Student Lauren Spierer
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik! We need you and the Dirty Army’s help!!! Lauren Spierer, a 20-year-old IU student , has been missing since 4:30 a.m. Friday . Spierer is 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighs between 90 and 100 pounds, and has blue eyes and blonde hair just below the shoulder, according to fliers posted throughout Bloomington. She is from Westchester Countynear Scarsdale, N.Y. and just finished her sophomore year at IU. Spierer was last seen walking south on College Avenue. She had been hanging out with friends at Kilroy’s Sports Bar. The bar features a sand and beach area, which may explain why she was seen walking away with no shoes, her mother Charlene Spierer said she was wearing a white tank top, a loose, light-colored button shirt and full-length black stretch pants.

This poor girl. I am a student at SIU-Carbondale and i have a feeling the same guy who attacked and raped a girl outside the library during finals week a few weeks ago creeped his way over to bloomington and kidnapped this girl to fulfil his urge since the girl at siu got away from him using pepper spray. My thoughts and prayers are with this young girl and I really hope she is found alive and okay. If she is no where to be found outside-Nik is right…she most likely is being held captive in some basement.

Agreed. Not just walking home, but it says “missing since 4:30 a.m.” Leaving a bar around that time and drinking….that’s just dumb dumb dumb.
Nobody deserves to get hurt or killed no matter what, but you have to have some common sense to know how to protect yourself.
Lauren suffers from a heart condition and needs her medicine. I hope she is found quickly and unharmed.
does anyone out there really believe that women are the only targets of abduction. No one can tell me that a young man walking out late at night, intoxicated or not, if blindsided by a predator, whether it be one or two abductors can make it to a safe place with or without his life in jeopardy. Listen up people, it is not a safe place out there, regardless or age, sex or race, regardless of whether it is daytime or middle of the night. Young men are just as much at risk as young women. If the abductor or abductors are taking the victim for a ride, what can or should the victim do? How can you even understand what is happening to you if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.————-be aware of what is going on around you at all times. Be prepared, never go out alone without telling someone where you are going – face it kids, if the devil is coming after you, he may very well find you.
