Sad Day At The Indiana State Fair
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, I’m pretty sure you heard already about what happened at the Indiana State fair… this is so sad and unfortunate.. just wanted to say my heart goes out to everyone affected by this.
I need to sit in the cheap seats next time, there are a ton of chicks at the 30 second mark that need to be saved.- nik

Omfg…. This is sad…
NIK, LOVE YOUR SITE BUT YOUR COMMENT JOKING ABOUT THE GIRLS IN THE CHEAP SEATS IS NOT OK, 5 PEOPLE DIED IN THIS ACCIDENT AND THERE ARE A GOOD HANDFUL OF PEOPLE STILL IN CRITIAL CONDITION FIGHTING FOR THERE LIVES…NOT REALLY A TIME FOR JOKES
Thank you! I’m Sure you would be making jokes if that was your family member under there!
just five? it looked like 30 got crushed! that’s what you get for going to a concert in 50mph wind. a tragedy but use your head people! easily prevented on all sides. the venue manager needs to be in jail for a LONG time.
THE WIND HADNT BEEN BLOWING THAT IS WHAT EVERYONE IS NOT GETTING THE WIND THAT KNOCKED THE STAGE WAS THE FIRST GUST OF WIND TO HIT !! THERE WAS NO WARNING THE STORM WAS STILL ON THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN !!
Sad. Although watching the video first I thought way more than 5 people would die, I have to say I’m glad many people didn’t.
THEY ACTUALLY ARE EXPECTING SOME OF THE PEOPLE IN THE HOSPITAL TO NOT MAKE IT AS WELL SO THE NUMBER MIGHT RISE SOME
that party really died
you’re funny nik. you know 5 people are dead.
this concert should have been cancelled. the weather was just too bad and they should have cleared the floor seat area sooner.
if they cancelled the show…people would have complained.
why can’t people accept it is a freak accident…they happen all the time in life, but usually not in such a spectacular way. i doubt anyone who is in the business of entertaining people wish anything like this would ever happen to anyone.
pray for the dead, pray for the injured, and instead of making some big memorial out of it…just let the band get back on a stage and play. keep the politicians out of it, and if you want the sad reality, take a gander with the famine in somalia. and count your blessings even in this tragedy in indiana.
peace
Then people complain…Complaining is much better than the alternative, people dying….And I have to disagree with your ‘freak accident’ comment, it wasnt a freak accident, a freak accident would of been the stage collapsing in perfect weather killing people. They new of the bad weather, they new about the high winds, and they new that stages lose their structural integrity when conditions are like what we saw in this video. The people who decided to allow this show were reckless and only cared about the money that they WOULD of lost if the show is canceled…
I DISAGREE I WAS THERE AND THE STORM WAS STILL A GOOD 10 TO 20 MINS OUT WHEN THAT WIND RIPPED THROUGH AND KNOCKED THE STAGE DOWN THERE WAS NO REASON TO HAVE PEOPLE LEAVE, AND ACTUALLY THE ACTUAL STORM WASNT EVEN BAD ASIDE FROM THAT ONE GUST OF WIND THAT DESTROYED THE STAGE. PEOPLE JUST WANT TO HAVE SOMEONE TO BLAME, INSTEAD OF JUST ADMITTING IT WAS AN ACCIDENT…
dear truth – you are correct, they should have used a stage only rated for class 5 hurricaines, F5 tornado’s, a 9.0 earthquake, volcano, and 15 meter tsunami wave. please wrap yourself up in bubble wrap till it is one foot thick so you can represent and radiate as a beacon of ignorance for the realities of live entertainment and mother nature and those sad events called accidents.
who on gods green earth would throw a concert in the middle of a desert while theres lighting striking?
Why on God’s green earth would someone air their opinion on the internet without having even a basic understanding of simple geography? Pretty sure there are no deserts in Indiana…
lots of desert in indiannapolis dumbass!
this was so sad.. to watch the stage fall ontop of those people.. im just imagining what it was like to have a HUGE stage light fall on top of you….
i hate all of niks comments sometimes its funnny, but this nik needs a slap for this one
these dumbasses will probably blame obama
Nik, first you make a smart remark about about our military members who die or are injured in combat. Now you present us with another inappropriate verbal ejaculation. Not good!
too bad that sugarland wasn’t playing when it happened.
My thought and prayers go out to the lives lost and people hurt in ts terrible accident! That wind was hellacious! I would have been running too!
pretty lame comment nik. Get a clue.
im glad they all got squished they shoulda known better..plus of two of them were ugly anyways
wind blows and so does this site
Nik, you will rot in hell one day for the bullsh’t comments you have on everything. This was a tragedy that you shouldnt be craking jokes about, the same goes for the men and women that fight to keep our country free!!! Get a life you piece of sh’t!
My 17yr dtr was there. The storm clouds moved in quickly, as it was sunny just 10 minutes before this (storm was not forecasted to arrive until 1/2 hr from this wind burst). My dtr noticed the dark clouds & temperature drop, so she made her way to the grandstand exit when the wind burst happened. She was pushed to the ground by the stampeding crowd and suffered a broken wrist/hand. She still managed to go back & try to help a young girl that was bleeding & hurt. Prayers to all those who lost loved ones & to those still critically injured…
I love this:)
oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god SHUT UP ALREADY!
i wouldnt mind being trapped with some of those girls
blame it on the muslims
I love all you idiots saying “oh the storm hadn’t arrived yet”. So that means you still KNEW it was coming? Use common sense next time and shit like this can be avoided.
Nic is just a c’nt, plain and simple.
It’s so obvious that God was aiming for Sugarland and just missed the target. I agree with “Truth”, it was definitely a freak accident. People should expect these things to happen when they go to a Sugarland concert.
