Another Detroit Promotional Douche
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, This piece of work is Brad Snyder from Formal Promotions and Models. He supposedly works out of the Detroit/Toledo area; with offices in Chicago and Vegas. Well, I have a feeling most of this is lies. He loves to entice local “models” to work for him at various promotional events in the area, and then not pay them. He starts out by saying he writes paychecks once a month. Well, that date will come, and he ALWAYS has an excuse as to why he doesn’t have a check. He has used everything from, “It’s Sunday, so do no have checks on me” to “I haven’t slept in my own bed in weeks” to “I’m at a concert right now” to “I have up to a year to pay you.” I’m tired of the excuses. I’m not the only one that has been burned…. He needs to STOP this; and needs to be put on the blast so that no one else falls for his lame excuses. I understand times are tough… but it’s not good business practice to screw other people over for your own benefit… EVER!!

No, the OP is not the one in the paint suit. In any case, a job is a job and being paid by your employer is unethical, wrong, and in many cases illegal.

Brad is one of the nicest people I have ever worked with, he paid me on time, runs multiple companies and is very successful. This page is BS, and I don’t understand how it can remain open after loosing an 11 million $ lawsuit after ‘Nik’ bashed Ben Quayle. Pathetic.

WOW I forgot about him but I worked for him too at an art gallery in wyandotte and then did a photoshoot and never got paid. What a lowlife.

It really wasn’t a lot of money… a couple hundred, maybe 300, I forget. I wasn’t going to beg for it, I just let it go.

Please listen to me, this guy will scam you. He has used exactly the same excuses with me and still owes me over 500 dollars. Brad has been very the nice the entire time and for the the first 6mos everything was fine, but now he has changed his phone number and stopped returning my e-mails. I have contacted past models and the majority of them say the same thing. I have added it up and just from the 6 girls I contacted, he owes close to $5,000. Please do not work for him or hire him. He has also explained to me why I can’t take him to small claims court. Well, I researched it, and he lied. He is taking advantage of young, naive girls that do not know the law. It is not right.
I have practiced law for 11 years so I decided to take a stab at this posting. The theoretical, technical answer is: It depends whether the company was a corporation and whether it went bankrupt.
If it is a corporation that went bankrupt, you are out of luck (like all the people who it owes money to). You could file a claim with the Bankruptcy Trustee. This is easy but will it best get you a small fraction of what you are owed.
By a simple search this company is an LLC. Which was owned by a parent company with a strong legal pedigree. This is my personal legal advice you dont have a case. In fact the postings on this website diminish your chances in a court of law. A court never sees favor in a Plantiff taking the law into their own hands. Here you have posted very discouraging remarks on a very public website before a judge has given the company its day in court.
I once represented a landlord who had thrown out a tenant before the court had ordered an eviction. After a fourty five minute lecture of what the landlord did wrong the court ruled in favor of the defendant the tenant.
The defendant was not allowed his day in court and the judge ruled in his favor.
The company will have lawyers that will request the postings and information from this site. I have never known a defendant who had a lawsuit filed at him/her/them not fire back with an additional lawsuit towards the plantiff.
My expert legal advice is by posting on this site you have hurt your chances of ever collecting. If there is validation in your claims he now sees you a mile away and has taken the proper steps to protect himself and his company. You have taken away the element of suprise and for this I would not represent you.
Second you now have given him a strong case. If any information is proven false above he has a case. Example is “he owes me 500 dollars”. If the dollar amount is any way inflated or false you have a clear cut posting stating a false claim.
If the company has entered Bankruptcy you can not fire away at owners, employees, or workers of the said company. The Bankruptcy laws protect the debtor from this type of abuse.
Business is just that Business. At the end of the day some deals work, some fall, and others bloom.
At this point, don’t even care about getting paid… It’s now more of a warning for future girls that may get asked to work for him. DO NOT DO IT!! He will string you along, as he is a nice person…. but has a dark side when it comes to business.
I am an attorney and have a judgment against formal promotions and brad snyder. anyone with a current address, home or office might help me collect from him on hehalf of a model he did not pay.
this is all too true. he has paid me once over a year ago and ever since then nothing. he will not respond to any emails and he has changed his phone number. he does always have an excuse not to pay you; i dont have any checks on me, its sunday, im a low life piece of sh*t that will have you work for me and put off paying you until never

yeah that is this guy, he has popped on my radar a couple of times. Mostly he is 100% full of shit. you get to talking deals, he is offering the sun and the moon, you get to him paying off up front he is MIA. had 2 promotion things he wanted to do with me, the first after a week I smelled the crap and iced the deal before he could hurt it, he showed up for another deal, I put it to him straight, up front or no deal, he negotiated and renegotiated and i just let him, because I knew he wouldn’t have the up front money for the models he wanted and when he was no show with the cash I said I never wanted to see him again. He still shows up at events trying to sign models, I wonder what his game is. Is he trying to screw these models or what, anyone got dirt on him as to why he does this…reminds me of Will Farrel in Step Brother “Prestige Worldwide” …he is a big pair of Clown Shoes….just do nt even bother with him!!! Avoid like Herpes!!!
