I Leave For Boot Camp In 3 Months
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, I need some help and your advice would really help. I’m leaving for boot camp in three months. I’m not all that worried about it I’m excited actually. Of course I’ve had family and friends tell me they don’t want me to go and the normal sobbing, crying, blah blah blah… But the only person I would really care to hear that from no longer speaker to me. She even blocked me off of fb when I told her when I was leaving and that I was going to miss her. Now there’s too much to this story for me to tell you entirely so ill make it short. We lived together for 4 months grew really attached to each other. I would always tell get how much she meant to me and how much I cared for her and she would tell me too. Well things got a little difficult so I moved out and we broke up but continued to talk. When I decided to enlist she heard that I was joining we got back together. But then she started getting really weird, she was ignoring my text, ect. So I didn’t flip out to much cause I didn’t want to be “that guy”. When it got to be about three weeks of her ignoring me I sent her a simple message on fb saying when I was leaving and that even though she was ignoring me I still cared for her and would miss her. Then she sent me a message and said that she still cared for me to and asked when I was leaving for sure. Then she blocked me! I was shocked at first cause I just didn’t know what to think and we haven’t spoken since. Nik what I’m asking is if I should try and talk to her before I leave. I love this girl Nik with everything she’s all I think about. But by her actions is it even worth trying should I just leave it be and let her deal with the guilt or is that why she blocked me cause she couldn’t handle the fact of me leaving. I just don’t know Nik so what would you do. Your advice would really help thanks.
Go find your life and experience what the world has to offer. Your heart will get over this in 15 days once you leave your environment. If this girl really loves you she will wait, but I can tell you from her actions she is planning to move on with someone else. Go serve our country and not serve her (DreamKiller).- nik
Hey bro, don’t sweat it. I am in the airforce and depending on what job you took, you’ll get over it real quick. There’s going to be so much new stuff (I.e area, clubs, women) that will help you get over your blues…have fun dude!

Hey many, this happened to me when i left for the USAF, trust me you want to be single when your in. You will experience so much more and you’ll be able to enjoy the bad ass duty stations the USAF has to offer. Good luck and Godspeed from one airmen to the next.

This guy has low self-esteem. He is worried about some girl when he is just out of high school. You need to think you can get a hotter girl and better connection than your ex, because otherwise you have low self-esteem. I can tell you have no game because first part of game is having self-esteem, but you will get some game by just being in the Air Force. Girls love guys in the military for one night, but to keep them you need to learn some game which hopefully you get.

dude, dont be like every other military fool and get married or knock a chick up or catch an std the first six months your in. dont get all home sick over some girl…waist of time…girls at that age are a dime a dozen…make sure u dont do security forces your bound to have all the above happen if you do….
Maybe she scared of getting hurt. I supported my boyfriend 100% through usmc bootcamp. I was 100% there for him through both deployments. I was his rock for 3 years and one day he up and decided to be done with me and never gave me a reason why. If she really loves you she’ll be there and if you really care about her then you should appreciate her.

buddy, 4 months, really, get over it, you’re young, and clearly dumb, like someone said earlier, at you’re age, girls are a dime a dozen, and most will only care about themselfs, go serve you’re country, have fun, and remember to use the things you learned on the next girl, its called practice for a reason
She’s an ass but at the same time maybe she’s worried about a few things. I was in the marines recon division. Say what you have to say and then go try to see her once when you get back in uniform lol.

yesss! for once i agree with Nik…. go out there, you will either A) find someone new B) gain life experience, and when you see her again, she will be just the same old… C) you will get far in life and youll be thankful you arent with her.
take it from me! joining the army [national guard] was the best thing, i gained so much life experience, ive traveled to many different countries, deployed, have sooo much stuff to add to my resume [im majoring in journalism/mass comm and i am a journalist in the army. )
plus, i met my now-boyfriend overseas. we’ve been together for almost two years
forget this girl. if she wasnt there in the first place, she wont be there for you during and after your experience.
There’s plenty of girls that love men in uniform, my best friend loves military men, I leave for Air force boot camp on Monday, hopefully I’ll find a guy there (a nice guy who I can bring home to Mama lol)
