First and foremost I do believe in dicipline when a child does wrong; however, that was not just a spamking; he beat his daughter. And for him to cuss at her like that was remotely uncalled for. Watching that video, I found myself wanting to take that belt from his hands and beat the shit out of him. A few good lickens on the rear would have been fine, but to continuosly hit on her like that is ABUSE! This plays back into how our judicial system works….it don’t, if he would have been just your average Joe; he would have served some time, but because he is a judge it will go swept under the rug so he can maintain his reputation. It makes me wonder if several of his judicial decisions will now be reopened for evaluation based on his obvious bias. How many abusive parents did he award custody to? How many parents came before his court with real accusations of abuse, and he punished the child making them live with their abuser?

My dad and mother used to spank me when I was young but after a certain age it becomes less tolerable to hit your child. This is abuse. I think the daughter should be allowed to beat her dad with a belt for 7 minutes so that the judge will learn just how it feels. I hope the judge is stripped of his robe and not allowed to work within the judical system ever again. I also feel that the mother is also to blame and should not be allowed around her children either unsupervised.
If this was a parent caught on tape they would be sent to jail and have to deal with CPS. Why is it any different for this judge? He should be investigated by CPS considering he still has a child living under his roof. He should have to attend AT LEAST 50 hours of parenting classes. And he should NOT be allowed to be a judge; especially one that deals with children, adolescents, or juvenile delinquents. He has disgraced himself and the Judical System in which he presides over.
