Anyway, the reason why I am writing is because you have a lot of minions posting things about free speech on this site and they seem to be lacking a few brain cells and don’t understand that free speech doesn’t mean you can say whatever you want. Let me provide some examples for your followers and yourself. Slander, racial slurs, curse words, defamation of character are several things that are NOT covered under the first amendment. You can’t even yell, “FIRE!” in a crowed stadium. IT’S ILLEGAL! I just wanted to clear a few things up and give people a little education. Seems like most of the people on here lack a decent education and obviously don’t even know their rights. So kiddos, next time you decide to go off on an individual you don’t even know, disagree with or dislike, use a little bit of diplomacy (you can look that up). Stay classy.

I like very much how this person took it upon themselves to ‘educate’ your supporters (like me), but in doing so basically insulted us and you in every other word. Isn’t the whole…insulting people…thing, what this is in part against?

This guy definitely did not go to law school. Racial slurs, curse words are generally protected depending on where and why spoken. Truth is a defense to alleged slander or libel, and you have to have a reputation to defame before any recovery is appropriate. You can of course yell fire in a theater if it’s on fire or if no panic would ensue.
don’t be stupid…there is no absolute right to free speech. Ever hear of the charge “inciting a riot?”

“curse words” are damn sure protected. So are racial slurs. Where do you get your information? If someone calls someone else a jew or a spic or something, they can’t be thrown in jail for it. Actually, free speech DOES allow yelling, “Fire!” in a crowded room. It also allows for racist, horrible & otherwise unpopular speech. It allows people to make their ignorance audible. It allows for many things. However… if you are libelous or invoke violence, or otherwise cause mayhem with your false words, you will be held accountable. Free speech is not without accountability. But you can’t be free without letting unpopular speech be heard.

i’m honestly really interested in why everybody assumes that a male posted this. i’m actually a female. you can say what you want, i just don’t think what nik is doing is moral or ethical. that’s all. and i think that the diluted youth of today doesn’t have any idea on how to communicate effectively. typically they just yellow out expletives when they are mad or want to try to get their point across. it’s honestly a problem and i think the dirty is contributing to the issue with our youth of today.

I really do not know what is more ignorant about this post, The fact that this human being actually spent hours trying to formulate big girl sentences and the 1st amendment into something that it isnt. Or the fact that she tried so hard to bring peoples morals and ethics into this. Let me state a fact kiddo please look up the first amendment, please follow that with Freedom of Speech then read the whole entire concept and law behind every category stated in our first amendment. Please come back and apologize for posting such an ignorant statement. I would have been happier to read. “Nik I do not support this because I once was put on this site because clearly I am not very intelligent” If this by any means went against any form of freedom of speech, which was just plain stupid because this would have been more freedom of press. However if this were to have gone against any of those we are all aware that this site would not exists.And the problem with the youth today is parenting, and the fact that more and more ignorant people are being mass produced blaming problems on everyone else.
