I went to elementary school with Niusha. She was really quiet in class and didn’t really have friends even though I remember her attempting to talk to people (and subsequently being rejected). I can’t help but think that everyone making fun of her appearance and rejecting her as a friend influenced her decisions later on in life. In grade 8 she really started to change from a quiet girl into a fancy-clothes-wearing makeup abuser. Then in grade 9 she began skipping class and really got into a bad group of friends and I didn’t really see much of her in the next three years, though I always heard from people that she was suspended, expelled or dropped out.
It’s sad to see what she has become (her photos on this post are old and don’t give the full story), and I can only hope that she will climb out of the hole she’s gotten herself into.
