THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, I was surprised you haven’t posted anything about the Penn State sex scandal and how Jerry Sandusky chose his victims from his own charity meant to help troubled youths. I’m a twenty two year old female attending Penn State, and there’s not a lot I wouldn’t do to tie that mother f*cker to a chair and sock him in the face repeatedly. I’m disgusted and embarrassed especially after reading the graphic 23 page grand jury report. I wanted to know if you read the report, and what you think about the situation. Obviously JoPa is guilty because they fired his ass right? Even though he only knew a vague version of the rape that occurred in the Penn State locker room, people are saying he is also guilty. I don’t know what to think especially since he passed the info to his superiors and did what was legally necessary, although neglecting to do what’s morally correct and alert the authorities. Everyone is so torn over this, its not going away for a long time.
Penn State is going to lose millions because they are ok with child molesters. See ya JoPa… this is your legacy.- nik
JoPa didnt do anything and he reported it but no one followed through with the investigations….. its a shame he is being punished (well not being punished yet but we assume).. its really the athletic directors fault for trying to cover it up… hope he gets to finish his year and retire on his own decision

Could have been worse, Sandusky was in line to succeed Paterno. I bet all Penn Staters would have been so proud…..just think how much has been covered up at these institutions of integrity through the decades. Wake up SHEEPLE you’re just at the proverbial tip of the iceberg…..

I read the report, and it is so, so sad. Starting with the puss McQuary, who JUST LEFT THE BLDG AND CALLED HIS DADDY, to JoePa…so many people let evil things happen.

Joe Pa deserves to be fired/force retirement for not taking care of the problem. The only problem is that the students are going to lose the money not the school or state. Tuition will go up and scholarships will go down so the students will pay the multi-million dollar settlement. Yes they have over a billion in the endowment, but anybody who knows economics knows a business passes down its cost to the customers aka students.
Anybody who thinks the kids will get 10 million dollars each you are living in a dream world. About 50 victims x 10 million dollars = Half-billion dollars Reality each kid will probably get somewhere between 2.5 to 5 million which amounts to 125 to 250 million dollars all together. You are dealing with a college who produces the people who hold positions as judge, jury member, and lawyer do not expect the victims to have the upper-hand.
if these kids are going to riot and freak out to defend Jo Pa after all this i hope their tuition goes up 500%. they clearly are too stupid for college anyway
The man had complete control and authority on that campus especially the showers in the Penn State footballl locker room. Since he decided to pass the buck on this one to someone else, 6 MORE BOYS WERE MOLESTED.
Joe Paterno’s defensive coordinator and friend was caught molesting boys in the Penn State locker room and Paterno was the 1st authority figure to find out and he did nothing. Life just isn’t footballs and field goals.
Joe, what were you thinking? One of your coaches tells you a 10 year old boy was getting raped by one of your other coaches on Penn States campus?
