THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, this right here is Chris Suich. He is the father of one of my best friend’s child and he is doing NOTHING to help her take care of their baby girl. He would rather spend his money partying and can’t keep a job more than a couple of months without getting fired. The only job this guy can keep is selling pot to his low-life buddies! This boy needs to be called out and every girl needs to know to STAY AWAY from this guy unless you wanna end up a single Mom like my best girl!!! Okay, Yank. Let me set you straight on your snarky remark about “condoms now available in Canada”. We’ve had them just as long as you have. The first condoms were intestines of sheep, sometimes pigs. In 1855, the rubber condom was introduced. Then, in 1920, LATEX was developed. Yes, Canada has condoms, & yes, people (not just women) should use them more. However, you kind of made it sound like it was mostly a Canadian problem with that comment, which, 16 & Pregnant, Teen Mom & Teen Mom 2 clearly point out.
Your snarky comment aside, I agree with the majority of what you said. Girls, if the guy doesn’t treat you with respect & isn’t willing to compromise with you & work WITH you to make the relationship work, DUMP HIM. If a guy’s not quite mature enough to be a father, DON’T put him in the position ’cause you’ll wind up a single mother. If he’s worth it, but he’s just young & still figuring out how to live on his own, it won’t kill you to enjoy SAFE sex for a few years & have kids later.
So the gf of mine who did this just showed me it and I’m going to set the record straight since assumptions are already being made.
#1. I’m not a teen Mom, I’m 26 in 2 months.
#2. I didn’t sleep with him the first night I met him and he had met most of my family.
#3. I was on the needle and had been for years so I was not some “being a little slut and popping out kids from my skank vagina.”
#4. I am far from dumb since I graduated college on the honor roll and have always kept a job unlike this guy who was just VERY good at lying and pretending to be someone he’s not. Since she has been born he has avoided his entire family since they are trying to get him to grow up.
Not trying to act like I’m perfect but at least I am taking care of OUR child without anyone’s help. He can’t sacrifice the $ he spends on himself to even buy a box of diapers.
Was he a mistake? Yes, a HUGE one.
But without making that mistake and getting involved with this jackass, I wouldn’t have THE most amazing little girl sleeping beside me right at this second.
Out of the 2 comments, one referred to the post, so assumptions aren’t really being made. Not many people cared enough to comment at all, so relax. Who cares what one AMERICAN chick thinks? She’s probably never going to meet either of you, so there’s no need to set the record straight for her. My comment was setting her straight on suggesting that unplanned pregnancies aren’t mostly a Canadian problem & that condoms aren’t new to Canada, so saying that they’re “now” available was quite uneducated. I made no assumptions ’cause, honestly, there are so many dead beat dads out there that it’s hard to get involved in every story. Hell, enough of my friends (in our early 20′s, not teens) have dead beats for their children’s fathers. I have my fair share of dead beats to be annoyed with & disappointed in.

I know Chris. He’s not so bad of a guy. Does he need to get his shit together? Ya. Does he need to grow up some more anYaYad become more responsible? Ya. Aside from that when it comes to his responsibility as a father to his child I personally don’t think he needs to commit to or support the baby in any way. Clearly it was unplanned as the mother was on the depo and it was HER choice to keep the baby. I am a mother myself and the father of my daughter doesn’t support her in any way. I’m quite ok with that. It was unplanned and I made the choice to keep her, he had no say in the decision. Even if he did it wouldnt have mattered. I didn’t and still don’t expect him to support us in any way. It was her choice to keep the baby and she should have been prepared for the possibility of Chris not being there or supporting her.
Exactly the mother chose to keep the baby.. and raise it on her own so lets quit blaming Chris for her choice.
