Society sucks today. This is a common occurrence in Miami, happens almost every week. A man was hit by 4 cars a week
ago and only one car stopped.
They should make a law that people fleeing from an accident will get life.

Driving and using a cell is considered murder in Canada if you kill someone, not sure if it’s the same there, so hopefully she gets a good amount of charges under her belt for this one. Who knows how many other innocent people she has hurt, or how many vehicular accidents she has been in. Get this woman of the streets!

As a friend of Michael and his family, I too, am shocked by the actions of the driver. On Saturday, we wanted to believe that the driver panicked and would realize the error of her ways and turn herself in. But after 24 hours passed, that became less of a reality. I had to stop and wonder today how she has slept in the last 4 days. Until this interview aired last night, she would have had no idea whether the person she struck had even survived. I cannot fathom how anyone with a soul could live with that. Today she probably knows that although he suffered severe injuries to his leg, he will recover. Michael owns a small farm that he will be unable to tend until he heals. Now not only did she cause him serious injury, his livelihood will suffer also. He will be dependent on others to care for the livestock and property until he and his wife are able to do so again. He will be unable to go work, unable to serve in the National Guard-the list goes on and on. If the driver would take 60 seconds out her day to stop and think about the effects her negligence had not only on Michael’s health but on every aspect of his and his family’s lives, just maybe she would step up and do the right thing.
