Usually this happens when you don’t drink enough water and moisturize. I have two children, (they were both in the 8lb range when born) and have very few stretch marks, my 2nd one I didn’t have any new ones, and I know several women who’ve had damn near none. Drink lots of water, eat fruits that have lots of water like melons for example, and use coco butter lotion, if you don’t like the smell then jergens original is good too, do those things and I don’t see how something this dramatic can happen.

Use coconut oil with vitamin E.. And keep using it right from the get-go of pregnancy.. There is only so far collagen can stretch before you get those marks!!
nothing you can do, the stretching starts many layers underneath the skin- you can moisturize your belly and it may help a little bit, otherwise a tummy tuck or laser resurfacing can reduce the appearance of stretch marks- but creams and moisturizers can’t penetrate the deep down layers where stretch marks begin forming, also pregnancy isn’t the only thing that causes stretch marks; if you gain or lose a lot of weight(20-30lbs min.) in a short period of time you can end up with awful stretch marks as well…bet this won’t get posted

the creams will work best if applied BEFORE you look like the above photo. Black women have been using cocoa butter to prevent stretch marks for years, it’s practically an unwritten rule… The marks will fade from red/purple to silvery white but they never disappear completely.

I had a baby last year and have no stretch makes at all. Eat right and excersize during your entire pregnancy and you should only gain 25-30lbs. Cocobutter everyday…there is no secret cream! Ask your doctor, there are no special creams. Cocobutter is best because it is thick and stays on longer but any cream will do the job if you reapply consistantly.

I am a very petite person and carried right out front… Had a beach ball attached to my body. Water… Lotion… and a little luck as I ended up with one small stretch mark where my belly button ring once was. Good luck to you and hope you end up with little to none and if not then oh well, you get a child out of the deal which is well worth it.
you people ARE HORRIBLE! shes having a baby some people can keep applying lotions vitamin e and still get stretch marks. hers are pretty bad but stop being so judge mental. its obviously not bothering her that she has them so leave it alone.

I dont have them this bad but pretty close… Im 5`3 and stay around 130 and I carried low and in front. Didnt gain anywhere else. Did everything people suggested to prevent them but my daughter was 10.1. Sometime you just cant help it.
I think you guys are immature and need to educate yourself. Clearly this woman had multiple babies in her stomach, you can tell! Stuff like this CAN happen and you can’t do anything to avoid it all together. You can waste your money on creams and ointments, lotions etc…but in all reality 9x out of 10 if you are a light haired fair skinned female and burn easily etc you will get stretch marks regardless. It’s not “gross” It’s something that happens. I am sure it takes a heavy enough toll on her self esteem without people bad mouthing her about having self respect. If you have stretch marks you shouldn’t be “allowed” to take pictures of your pregnancy?! BullS**! She has just as much right as you. I am very small and have always been slim. I had my children, used all the creams, drank plenty of water etc and I still didn’t escape stretch marks on my stomach. If someone told me I was less of a person or disgusting or wrong for showing my marks in personal photos I’d probably punch them in their face and tell them to try to grow some brain cells!!!!!
