Not that I care about this (I just came here to laugh at the posts about indians), but I used to do lots of celeb-related work and the short version is that if a celebrity takes an unflattering picture it can show up all over the place and damage their career. Keep in mind they literally get paid for doing absolutely nothing except being attractive/recognizable, so their looks are (mostly) what determines their value. Lots of celebs are chill and don’t give a shit about this, but sometimes if you book an appearance the only pics they’ll pose for have to be taken by their own photographers, that way they’ll have control over getting rid of anything that doesn’t turn out in a flattering light.
