CNA’s ain’t sh*t. They pretty much just do all the dirty work for the RN’s and Dr.’s (cleaning bedpans, wiping a patient’s ass, etc). The position doesn’t even pay more than 10 bucks an hour.
I worked for $10/hr as a CNA and loved/hated it. I met so many amazing residents, but when you lose someone you take care of 5 days a week you need to let loose every once in awhile. However, I wouldn’t be going out dressed like I killed half of a Yeti.
SOMEONE has to do it. All the more reason someone should be respected for doing those things. Especially a small girl. Do you have any idea how much upper body strength is required to lift an 72 year old man incapable of moving himself?

The only reason why I wanted to say something, was because of what you said. It is a WHEELCHAIR not wheel chair, and it is YOU ARE fat not you.

She’s not even a nurse….she’s a CNA, a 6 weeks class. Second of all, are medical professionals not allowed to be normal people? Shes not even a stripper…..and even if she was. How exactly would that impact her job? If you put your own fat ass in a wheel chair, I have no sympathy for you either. Just like I have no sympathy for someone who doesn’t take care of any aspect of their lives. ESPECIALLY the most important…..your own health.

why make i’m taking a shit faces? and furthermore just cause your skinny does not mean you are not skinny-fat…you have a loose jelly belly no tone or firmness and some chicken legs that’ll fill in as you age, you act better than overweight people cause you are naturally thin in all reality your body is screaming I don’t workout in the same ways their bodies do but on a larger easier to see scale; I know this cause I looked similar in the stomach after having a baby it wasn’t til I started exercising that I looked thin and in shape not just skinny but loose

I find it funny when I see hot, hardworking, sweet girls on this site. The people who post anonymously, and the people who create the post are clearly jealous and most have a horrible life. This girl is the sweetest person you will ever meet! She works full time at a hospital even though it’s a CNA she is on the right track to becoming a nurse. Along with that who cares if she’s a Gogo !? It’s something she likes to do ! And there’s nothing wrong with that ! And you need to get your facts right !

I couldn’t agree anymore with the wheel chair thing if you are in a wheel chair because your a fat f*** you shoul learn to excersize there’s no excuse to be a whale ! Beside your probably taking up half the aisle and an older person who actually needs it.
There are many reason why people are over weight. Some are lazy and some because of having medical conditions. What gives you the right to judge? Just because you are thin does not mean you are healthy!!!

Wow. I don’t even know where to begin with this. Yes, I am a CNA. And yes it may not be the most glamorous job, but I love what I do. I work with amazing nurses, like the blonde in my picture, and it’s helping me mold my future for my nursing career and help me at school with my nursing major… CNAS work hard, and we have relations with our patients just as much as a nurse does. With the wheelchair comment, the poster forgot to mention the rest of it. “People would give their lives to have the ability to walk, if you are in a wheelchair ONLY because you are obese, I have no sympathy for you…” I work with a ton of paraplegic and stroke patients who lost their ability to function on their own, and I just simply stated that it bothers me when people have full capability to live a healthy lifestyle, and they choose to live life in a wheelchair. Gogoing, oh gosh. When will people ever shut up about this! YES, I am a gogo dancer and LOVE everything about it. I am not a stripper, my clothes stay on… I work for one of the biggest entertainment companies in AZ. I get to meet tons of amazing artists and perform at huge events and work in some pretty cool clubs. I think it’s funny that the poster said I represent my job poorly, because I have had plenty of co workers come see me on a friday or saturday night lol. I am so sick of gogo dancers being put on blast for doing something they love doing… DANCING. That is all.

This to everyone hating on this girl ( and BTW I don’t know her). Many RNs start off as CNAs–IT is a benefit because once you become a nurse, you learn to respect other CNAs & appreciate their hard work. AND I agree with her comment about “fat people in wheelchairs.” If you ever worked in a hospital setting and saw disabled people who actually try to walk and LIVE A independent life–it’s HEART breaking! SO YES, it makes you angry when you see “fat people in wheelchairs” who take simple things like “walking” for granted!
AND this is to Andre: Just by looking at you, I know you will make a great nurse someday. I think a diverse and well-rounded lady, such as yourself, makes the nursing profession great & WHAT is up with the double standards? HCPs are people just like anyone else, they like tattoos, parties & dancing.

After 2 years, Banner reinstated the merit raises. Now you can get off that pole and stay wiping more asses. People seem to appreciate that more.
