THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, this man is Crash “Brian” Gregg. He owns the local magazine “The Raleigh Downtowner”. You can catch him out almost 7 days a week at bars/clubs/restaurants… eating and drinking for free while he tells the venues he will do a story on them in a magazine no one reads. He has slept with 75% of the Raleigh female population. He is in his mid 40′s and cheats and lies to everyone he comes in contact with. He talks junk about all of the advertisers in his magazine. He has dated a few nice girls but can’t seem to hold on to any of them. He is a pathological liar and would be sleeping with 3 or 4 girls at the same time lying to every one of them. He has passed around DRD’s and physically and mentally abused most of the women he’s been with. He is also COMPLETELY BROKE and just set fire to his own house to get insurance money. What a LOSER! This town needs to know the truth about Mr. Gregg once and for all.

If you truly know this guy, you know what a disgusting pig he is. He lies, cheats, and steals from everyone in this town. No one reads his magazine, and he tricks people into advertising in it any way for his own personal gain. Not to mention the nasty whores he’s been with are all old and washed up, except for one or two. Can anyone show a link where the house fire was ruled electrical? Don’t believe it! It’s time this man is exposed and any restaurant owners, club owners, or any businesses downtown should stop advertising immediately.

Lisa, I know this guy. He only does a lot for the community because it makes him “look good”. He is all about image. Trust me. I’ve known him for a long long time on a personal and professional level.
I’ve known him since college and it’s a shame there are so many haters in Raleigh who are jealous of a great guy. He donates a lot of time and energy to a lot of local charities that he never gets recognition for because that’s not why he does it. I personally know this guy. He’s fun to grab a drink with, but I def wouldn’t want him dating my sister. He sleeps with a lot of women. I’ve caught him texting several different women at once trying to get them to go home with him. He lies a lot too. I’m a dude, so I’m kind of like whatever, but no way in hell would i have one of my close female friends come near him.

Actually, his name is Scott “Crash” Gregg, which he legally changed himself about 16 years ago from his legal birth name, Scott Warren Gregg. He thinks it’s cool and depending on which day, he’ll tell you a different version of how he got the name “Crash”, except the truth that HE choose it for himself. If you check police records, you will see, he has been arrested or has traffic violations under both names, but same SS#. 123NC.com. It’s as easy as that.

He has a false sense of security because of who he knows in Raleigh.He has skimmed off Second Hand Santa to provide his own kid with Christmas gifts. He is fond of hidden video cameras and is loosely connected to the porn industry. Probably has dirt on people who will protect him.
The fire was probably caused by extra wiring for his computers and video cameras. Overloaded and arced.
I was his neighbor before the fire and I’m really appalled by some of the ridiculous things said on this pathetic site especially from “Know him…” person, who obviously is a jealous loser with an axe to grind.
To touch on just a few:
The fire in his house started from unfinished rewiring done in the attic where a contractor, hired by the house’s owner, was in the middle of doing work. The house was over 150 years old and there was a lot of very old wiring in it.
Whoever wrote this originally does not even know him. Brian, as they put in quotes, is not his nickname or even his middle name. Nice job making things up about someone you don’t even know.
There’s no such thing as Second Hand Santa in Raleigh. He organizes a toy drive for two local charities every year for the past few years and puts in a lot of hours to make sure they collect a lot of toys for underprivileged and foster kids. So I seriously doubt if he needs to “skim” anything for Christmas. I attended the event the last two years and he even donates toys to his own event.
There’s a porn industry in Raleigh? Haha. Didn’t think our town was big enough for that. And who exactly does he need protecting from, other than douchebags like the ones on this site?
He has a video surveillance system outside his house, just like many of us do. It was in plain site right on the porch and on the side of the house. We’ve all had things stolen from our porches and front yards and when he moved into the neighborhood, I recommended he get one as I do with all our new neighbors. Try again, “Know him…”

Sometimes knowing who someone is in public is different from who they are when they dont think anyone is looking. And, yes, thinking beyond your own back door would be something called the internet….so unless you really know, dont assume. In addition, I would think getting rid of a guy like this would be a relief. Doesnt sound like bitter to me,….sounds like a warning to others.

Just because you went to college with someone or live next door to them, does not mean you know them. Mr. Gregg has always had cameras outside his home as well as inside. He does not always use them for just security, but personal taping, and the people involved do not always know he is doing so. He is a great con man and obviously, there will always be people who fall for the persona he wishes to present. Not everyone who has had something negative to say is jealous or a hater, or scorned. Sometimes, they are simply telling the truth. Funny how in this society, warnings are ignored and written off as jealousy. I’ve known this man for years and he does little without having some personal gain in it for himself. He has trashed many lives using people and tossing them aside when he cannot control them anymore for his own game. He then gets away with it, because people will believe it is just because that person was scorned. Karma will take care of him. When he falls, and he will, I am sure there will still be people out there believing he is a good guy. Just like there are people who believe serial killers are innocent. Sociopaths come in many forms and he is one. He had many sex videos he made and stolen items in that house. Items he stole over the years. The fire may have been accidental, but the karma wasn’t. And for the record, I am neither bitter, jealous, or a hater. Just someone who has seen firsthand his path of destruction and lies for many years. When a friend pointed this out to me, I decided to add a little truth to the fire. Whether people choose to believe it or not is up to them. However, my grandmother always told me, if more than one person is telling the same story, there must be some truth in there. And in Mr. Gregg’s case, there is a lot of truth being stated. The truth does come out in the end. Sometimes it just takes a while.

I don’t know if he’s tried to make money off them . Would not surprise me. My friends sister was notified about it and found them on about 35 sites after she broke up with him. She would never have consented.She had no idea and it almost made her suicidal. She didnt think she was the only one.He had made titles for them as if he was going to try and sell them. If these rumors have some truth to it, then why didn’t the ex-grifriend sue him for making the tapes w/out her consent?It is Ilegally to do so!!! and in the event that he has been making profit out of these tapes, he would be in even depper trouble!! And to top it off, he can also get arrested if you play your cards right. So if he has done this…. then why isn’t he in jail or sued for his michivieous doing? Tell me why NOT!
