Why Is It Ok For African-American’s To Be Racist
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, here is the new Brooklyn Nets logo and I find it racist as hell. Why is there no color? And why does no one care. If a white team owner made a logo with no Black in it, the African American community would be outraged. This is completely bullsh*t and I hate how in this country, black people can be racist towards white people very publicly and no one cares. But soon as a white person says something questionable, all hell breaks loose. Here is a perfect example. Last night I was watching MTV’s Ridiculousness and a video came and Stelo Brim (the black guy on the show) made a comment that said “all white people have no rhythm”, and every one laughed. Now imagine the same scenario and a white person says “all porch monkeys don’t have jobs and only have ambitions or being drug dealers, rappers or athletes”? No one would like that and I’m sure MTV would fire a bunch of people related to this show. I’m just tired of racist people in this country and black folks need to cool the f*ck out.

as for the design…beauty is in the eye of the beholder, i think it looks like a two year old sketched it out and had a bunch of yes men, find a web designer off craigslist that knew what adobe illustrator is, comp up the idea, go into manhattan to commissioner sterns office and say “but jay-z sketched this!”

The minorities in this country may hold a resentment towards white people, sometimes yes it is in fact racism, but racism as a minority makes absolutely no sense what so ever. Even though our presidents skin color says differently, this is a white mans country. The wealth and social standards all belong to white men and women. There is still some forms of slavery.
