I agree with Nik. I have a keen eye for detail in faces and I think it is the same person. His nose just looks wider because he was slightly smiling and his left eye looks a little off in both pictures. Humans have over 10,000 facial expressions. It’s the same guy.

His face is angled upward in the mugshot pic, making his nostrils look more visible. plus, when you smile, your nostrils go down slightly.
