He also likes to f*ck young boys in the DJ booth and put drugs up their noses. He also drink’s way to much and always plays the same trashy music every weekend. I’m sorry but when you look like Mr. Ed’s son, who in gods name would want to sleep with you?? Oh yeah, he also thinks he is the best DJ around…he is about as worthless as they come. LIES!!! ALL LIES!! I have been upstairs to visit Michael at the Fantasy a few times. He is so focused on his work! Kasselman is known by many DJ’s around the country, from Chicago to Miami. He has respect for many of the other dj’s around town as well! A few record companies and artists and reps work directly with him on music related issues. A handful of singers & producers even send him their music before a new single is released. Some of those include some big name artists!! Many dj’s have high respect for him! Not many gay club dj’s play all that hip hop and DANCE music, in one night. Many gay clubs DONT! He found a way to balance the rotation and make the majority happy with good advice from a former Fantasy dj!
He doesn’t do drugs! He has a good job, that does random drug testing quite frequently. If you knew Michael like I do, you would know he has never done drugs. He could pass a drug test any day of the week.
…and by the way, he hardly drinks at all!!! The owners of the clubs and bartenders around town, all know he limits himself. Because of multiple reasons, including health advice, and his experiences!!!! At least he has not passed out while dj’ing!!!
Michael often donates money to local charities, including fundraisers for animal rescues. He has even volunteered to dj events for local non-profits!! He has even received job offers from a few big broadcast companies, including Harpo, if i remember correctly! Drug users dont accomplish the things he has!!
As for the “little houseboy” comment… Last time I checked a “houseboy” lived on site. Mr. Love lives clear across the county!

I have been around a couple hand fools of other DJ’S and I still believe Michael is better, he may not be the best like he has stated before. And Michael does play lots of dance songs but he always gets song request for “HIP HOP” and if we don’t play it people bitch about it. This past Friday not many was dancing to the dance music but once he played hip hop they was all on the dance floor.. strange. And Pauly did is only famous from that stupid show.

A lot of things that were said here are just wrong! However the one thing I will agree with is that the club he works at has gone way downhill from what it once was. It used to be the “Jewel” of the Gay Community here in Wichita once. Now it’s turned into a place and environment where less than desirable people tend to hang out every weekend. The music is bad, a repeat of every weekend before it, drinks are smaller than they used to be and more expensive and that’s why a lot of people don’t go there anymore. They need to return to what they once were, a respectable place, great dance music instead of this Top 40 crap that is overplayed, and decent drinks. As far as Michael goes, I have no problems with him, but the place he works needs to get their S**T together!
Its 2012…the Fantasy still has the cheapest drinks in town-gay or straight bar…(and NOT watered down)…they still hve a inespensive cover after being in business 32 years…they have survived the deaths of several of the staff, other bars opening, the old town corporate clubs, and growing pains…give them a break…they are still a jewel…people need to let the past BE THE PAST…and move on…1981 ws then-this is now…maybe offer to help like the customers did “then” if its so important to return to those “glory days” instead of griping about it…just saying-people always find it easy to bitch about things and not help to encourage or fix it…this site is like a jerry sprinfer group of wanna bes …
First of all, they do NOT have the cheapest drinks in town. That much I can guarantee you! Secondly yes, your right, the past is the past however the past needs to be built upon as a foundation and not just thrown out the window like it doesn’t exist! Several people have offered their opinion to the “Owners” of Fantasy, however they do not want to listen to what the customers want, they just wan’t to do what they want despite what anyone else say’s. I’m sorry, but a few “Cosmetic” changes in there don’t make it a Jewel. A Jewel appeals to the entire community, not a small portion of it. People get tired of coming in there only to walk in hearing the same song’s that they did the previous one, seeing the drugs being passed around like candy by the queens, and then these same queens getting the royal treatment like they run the place. Lastly, if your going to refer to everyone on here as a bunch of “Springer Wannabe’s”, you might learn how to spell it correctly otherwise it would seem as you would be a better fit in that category.

The music used to draw EVERYONE out on to the floor and there was a good variety of songs to please all of the people in the club. Now every time i go i get to hear the latest hip hop songs..maybe one or two old techno songs and a lot of skipping and stopping the music in between. Russell doesn’t work on the weekend nights so I know it wasn’t him that caused the gaps in the music!!!! Numerous people have asked for changes to be made in the booth and with the environment there only to walk in the next week, month, or year and see the same tired S**T being played out. So it is what it is, and they need to be called out on it. I’m sorry you don’t hear the mistakes and incompetence there, but if that’s all you have working there, you tend to get used to it and accept it!!

I have know Michael Kasselman for over two years now and I can tell you for a fact that he is a cheater because the night I meet him he took me home with him and Kenny. The next morning while Kenny was mowing the grass, Michael had sex with me and told me that it was are little secret. I have been told by at least 5 guys that they have had sex with Michael and 2 have had sex while he was “DJing” if you can call it that. Michael is not famous anywhere, ask anybody that is not from Wichita and they have no clue who you are talking about. He gets his music from a DJ site that anyone can join if they want. He does not donate to any charities all he does is use people for their money and save his for himself. I have know Michael for the last two years, and I work with him almost every weekend and never once has he had sex in the DJ booth. And as far as his music goes, he pays for all of it, he doesn’t get it for free. Last time I knew, all DJ’S get their music that way… hmmm. And idk where donating to charities came from but ok.
Let’s all just examine the facts shall we:
1. We all know (even though some won’t admit it) that Michael only plays radio edit and pre-mixed stuff he downloads. He is a mediocre dj at the most.
2. Him and his husband use the Fantasy as their private trolling grounds for boy’s to hook up with.
3. Fantasy just generally sux anymore because of the lack of management, drag queens running everything and everything revolving around drag and event’s that no one really want’s to see except those participating in them and nothing but top 40 / hip hop music being played. There are a lot of clubs in town that play that kind of music a hell of a lot better with cheaper drinks!
4. The Fantasy and most of the employees and owners are the pun of jokes all over Wichita.
5. Drink prices too high and not enough specials to keep regulars coming in the door.
6. Pretty good information around (including from some that work there), leads most to think they are about on the verge of going under.
7th and finally, Everyone know’s it’s Daddy’s money keeping it afloat. He could not maintain XES and Fantasy both at the same time. Had to make a choice, and chose Fantasy.
Should have bought momma out and got other people in there to run it and work it. Makes one wonder with all these issues that they continue going down the path that they are. Too many clubs in this town have made these mistakes and are no longer around.

One guy hinted that people thought it was me who did this. It wasn’t. I found out from Russell who found out from Andrew. I read this site periodically, but don’t post to it, cept in comments.
Posting angry crap like this is childish, even though I agree with most of what was said. Michael wouldn’t stop treating me like I was an imbecile, like I was stupid. Shortly after the Thursday before last, he removed me off Facebook. Whether it was for this or for something he thinks I did at the club. I know I also told him to stop threatening to “spank” me because it was tiresome, annoying, etc… I’m only 20 btw. He does lie and only do half stuff at the club. One of the lights has been up for at least 2-3 months and hasn’t been added back into the system and the projector was never aligned correctly (takes only 2-3 min to correct the keystone so you aren’t shooting a trapezoid onto the screen).
It was nice getting $40 from him for the Miss Gay Kansas America pageant.. I sat in a chair and ran a camera, but I doubt that will be happening again.

Exactly Austin. He only does half work at the club because when it comes down to it, he doesn’t know what he is doing with lighting nor sound equipment. He has to get someone to come in there and give him all kinds of advice and then go to the guitar center and buy all the equipment he was recommended instead of buying it from him and then has the GALL to call and ask him to install it!!!!!! What a total UNPROFESSIONAL! The sooner he is out of there and replaced with someone competent to do the job, that play’s the right kind of music to attract a crowd like that place used to have. The motto of a club is “You get what you give” and by putting Michael up in that booth every weekend, they are getting crap!
I would like to know how everyone thinks they know how to do lights and sound etc. Really people if you have the experience then why aren’t you coming forward with it? And he is only allowed to play certain music. Also, I am sure all of you know it all’s know how to run a huge club like Fantasy and I am sure you all know how to do sound and lights etc.
I just have one question on that Mike. If he is only allowed to play certain music, wouldn’t you consider that a problem? What about the people who come in there to hear something else besides the same old stuff that’s played weekend after weekend? I guess that’s why a lot of people either quit going out or started going to Rain. I personally don’t really like Rain because it’s too small and I find myself waiting forever at the bar for a drink, however the trade off is Fantasy where the music being played is not what I like and the drugs are rampant there. I just wish this town had a 3rd option instead of “straight bars”.

I love how Fantasy is promoting a dirty.com party. Bring a copy of the ad with your id and you get discounts. Muffy and Bucky, when you gonna learn that you won’t be attracting any new customers cause all the trash that was put up on here, already hangs out in your bar!
