I found this picture after looking at a post up on TMZ where she was in workout gear and her midsection just looked weird and disproportionate. I think this shows the amount of photoshop and retouching that can be done on pictures for magazines. Real life images are what counts! Speaks for itself in my opinion.

I think it’s a political correctness thing. And besides, let’s be honest, I know all men want the ideal, perfect woman, the top 1%. But they’re hard to find, and if you find them, they’re hard to keep. Most women are average looking and slightly chubby. They’re trying to to market to ‘real women’, because that’s who would be buying the clothes. The perfect 5’9″ size zero is rare. The fasion business is waking up and starting to market to REAL women wearing the clothes they want to sell.
No one that size should wear those clothes. They’re not flattering for that type at all. Maybe the fashion business should try making clothes that flatter “real women” and stop trying to put “real women” in clothes that are made for the rare 5’9 size zero girls.

People need to stop getting bent out of shape about her being called ‘fat’. Compared to the majority of Americans, no she is not fat; however, are we all forgetting she is a runway model?! It would be much more fitting to classify her as a PLUS size model – for those of you who think she is attractive in the least bit that is.
Oh and in regards to those bashing the OP – they are likely not getting paid to be a model. So natrually when I came home , I googled her …..an average face and a full figured body. Well now of course I know boys traditionally like this and of course women pretend to ‘love’ Kate Upton and the million other girls like her too. What i don’t understand i why she is found so attractive. When i first searched her I felt ” ohh, i thought she was gunna be prettier”. Average small eyes small nose small mouth small face and then a very full figured body. But if we are going by the standards of sex symbols , I’d rather see someone who looks like Mariyn Monroe because she to me is the epitome of sex and beauty.
