Yes, do a little research. GM and Chrysler would have been better off if Obama had done nothing. If he had done so, these companies would have gone into a reorganization bankruptcy in which could have renegotiated their labor contracts. The cost of labor is what was preventing them from being competitive. So, what Obama really did was bail out the unions. Pay attention to the news, GM has not paid back their loans and is failing. They only way they’ll be able to stay alive is through government support, i.e., our tax dollars.
