Obama Uses Kal Penn To Get The Stoner Vote
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, did you see this sh*t?! President Barack Obama makes a phone call to John Cho and Kal Penn in a promo video for the 2012 Democratic National Convention. The guys, obviously playing their hit characters Harold and Kumar, are sitting on the couch when they get a call from the President telling them, “just remember that I’m trusting you on this and I’ll see you there.” Kal, who left acting for a career in politics I guess is hosting something at the DNC. People that say he is evading taxes need to take a look at the totals that the wealthy Americans pay. The top earners in this country pay over 80% of the total tax $ that comes into the government. Lower income groups pay about 6%. Maybe the wealthy should just not pay taxes like 40% of Americans already dont. Time will tell on that. I have a very good understanding of taxes. As I have Masters in Taxation CPA. I nor any of my family have ever been on welfare. Why is he hiding his the 10 years of taxes. Kal Penn works as an Associate Director in Public Engagement Office of the White House. He is very intelligent and he does a lot of good work for the Asian-American community.
Obama, a former pot-smoker himself, doesn’t need to worry about the stoner vote. This short clip isn’t going to make anyone vote for Obama that wasn’t planning on doing so already. If anything, Clint Eastwood talking to the chair was a bigger draw for stoners than anything Harold and Kumar might do.
