People have been doing acid for almost 50 years. So this “today’s youth is corrupted” is lame and ridiculous. I hate to break it to you but experimenting with drugs at a young age is nothing new.
It’s nothing new, and it hasn’t done anybody any favors either. heavy drug use is rampant with youth today. And if she’s doing acid in highschool god only knows what she’ll be into this time next year. it always gets worse, and she’s obviously not mature enough to know she’s on the dangerous slipperly slope!! Her parents/guardians need to know. Period.
I never said it did do anyone favors but unless your trapped in a bubble of denial drug use is always rampant in H.S kids. Because of the fact they are young and and very experimental. You don’t instantly become a drug addict from trying drugs… Weak minded people with addictive personalities and problems get addicted to drugs. Not once did I say not to tell anyone’s parents. In fact that is good if someone does so they can actually sit down with them and explain the consequences of using drugs.

just because they are doing drugs doesnt mean they are fucked. an extremely large portion of the population experiments as kids and many still experiment occasionally to this day even at 40-50. and the majority of those people arent fucked. if the drugs start to interfere with their ability to succeed in life (which with most people it doesnt) THEN they are fucked.

Everyone experiments with drugs and alcohol at that age and then by the time you get into your 20′s you get over it. Like an abov poster said, it’s only those who have issues who become addicts because substances become an escape for them. For others it’s something fun to do while you’re young and stupid. And anyone with parents that grew up in the 60′s and 70′s know they were doing all kinds of drugs when they were young. Its nothing new.
