Pot Smoking Leads To Testicular Cancer

Because now they’re saying young men who had smoked marijuana recreationally were twice as likely to be diagnosed with testicular cancer than men who have never used marijuana, according to a U.S. study. The link appeared to be specific to a type of tumor. Now the research isn’t ironclad proof that the marijuana is to blame, and even if it is, the danger isn’t overwhelming. According to the American Cancer Society, a man’s lifetime risk of getting testicular cancer is about one in 270….and because effective treatment is available, the risk of dying from the disease is just one in 5,000. So far, little is known about what actually causes it. Scientists say descended testicles, in which the testes remain in the abdomen beyond the age of a year, are a risk factor. It’s not entirely clear how pot would influence men’s cancer risk, but they’re saying the the developing testicles may somehow respond to the drug’s main active ingredient. I still don’t care, I’ll smoke all I want! Thoughts?

That is SUCH A LIE! I’d like to see who conducted the study. Most of these studies are biased and performed by people being hired by big pharma companies. Big corportations want you hooked on synthetic drugs so they could make more money. They don’t want people to be smoking weed so that they could make more money by selling prescription drugs.
Do you have any idea how many people in California alone would have testicular cancer if this were true? Why don’t we look at the shit we’re eating instead. I don’t smoke weed but I do know that it’s amazing for some people. Thomas Jefferson himself smoked it, as did some of the other founding fathers. Jefferson smuggled cannibis seeds from another country too (and the declaration of independence was written on hemp paper…as well as the Bible).
I will dare ANY of you to go to WalMart, Applebees, or KFC. Look at their signs when you first walk into the door. I have seen big signs (partially hidden by other crap they hang on the wall of course) on their doors warning people that there are chemicals and products inside (and in their food) that are “known to the state of California to cause cancer.” I stopped going to those places after that. Shit…I don’t even eat processed food anymore! LOOK AT WHAT YOU’RE EATING! THAT IS WHAT GIVES YOU CANCER! GMOS ARE PROVEN TO CAUSE INFERTILITY AND CANCER! Look it up!

amen brother….i just read a study that said that smoking weed reduces the size of cancerous tumors….this study is scientific, they basically asked all ball cancer patients if they ever smoked weed before, and what a surprise most probably said yes and boom! it cause the cancer, comon!!

I never understood how people would rather put unknown chemicals with adverse side affects into their bodies over a plant. Damn lying, biased mainstream media! And people just believe them, sheep.

I’m actually REALLY glad there are more people out there who are aware. When I posted that comment, I assumed that I was going to get attacked with ignorant comments. But I didn’t care. I just wanted to throw in my opinion and facts you all should know about.

They give it to cancer patients because it helps them. It not only eases pain but it has been known to fight and cure cancer. What you see and hear on TV is much, much different than reality. The Feds can’t tax weed so they don’t want you to smoke it.
Ask a cancer patient who is taking medicinal cannabis what they think. They will tell you! Remember, there is a cure for every illness! All of these cures are found in nature. Doctors don’t want you to know about this because they are getting paid by big pharma companies to sell you their own synthetic drugs. It’s a twisted world we live in.

Weed is not a drug, for anyone that thinks that is a true idiot.
It is a plant drug, like opium, which is the latex gum of a poppy (papaver somniferum). Anything that burns is creating a carcinogen. Many plants that have carcinogens, also have the constituents to battle those carcinogens. The f-up comes with humans, who always seem to think they know better, extract just the one component they want, and throw away the rest. Weed IS a drug, in its purest form. Call it a phyto-drug, even, but it has medicinal properties and is therefore used as a drug, making it a drug.
So, what is weed, if it’s not a drug? A plant with druglike properties?

Well…I don’t have balls, so I’m good. If I didn’t toke up when stuff gets tense, I’m likely to try to kill someone. Besides, ball cancer is pretty much treatable. There’s survivors in my own family. I can’t say the same for alcoholics I knew. A lot of em are dead. My grandpa? He fought ball cancer, he’s a survivor now. He’s in his 90′s and still out hunting, fishing and all kinds of stuff
Now, Alcohol causes liver cirrhosis, once your liver is screwed, you’re screwed unless you get a transplant. Even then the liver may not take and you’ll die. At best you’ll take a drug ALL YOUR LIFE so your body doesn’t reject the liver. Are y’all going to quit drinking, getting wasted daily? Yeah, thought so

Weed helps put cancer cells in remission hence why when someone has cancer they give them weed as a prescription! Geeze it also helps them eat because the chemo makes them have no appetite and you need sustenance for your body to start healing. It is a drug. Opium is a drug, as well. It is the latex from poppy pods. It is still a naturally growing plant itself, and the government has pretty much control over opium production. There are many other reasons why pot is illegal (See William Randolph Hearst).
