Will Old Scottsdale Ever Come Back
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, I got married back in 2010 and have been totally out of the game. Before I met my wife, the boys and I would go to Oldtown Scottsdale get tables, pop bottles and do a grip of Pepsi and those were the days. Pretty blondes everywhere and everyone had so much money to spend, we would just be buying bottles for random tables because we could. Recently I got divorced and I decided to go out and get back in the game, but only to find out that Oldtown is a total sh*thole now and there is no hot girls to be found. No one has money and just pretends they are balling. Do you think Scottsdale will ever be back like it use to?

Downtown Scottsdale is played out. Too many perpetrators down there now, and knuckleheads. Nowhere near like it used to be. The girls down there think they are the sh*t and don’t even have the looks, style, and class to pull it off. They all look the same in every way. A lot of them are beat and tired looking. If you want to get back in the game, then go to Tempe or places in North Phoenix.

Old Town really did get hit bad. It’s all West Valley/Mesa types these days looking to start shit with everyone.
What I came to learn about Scottsdale is it is REALLY mainstream with everything. All they do there is follow trends, and anyone that has a successful business knows following trends only works for so long, in order to be big you have to make your own trends.
What do you do when you aren’t Cali (no ocean) and you aren’t Vegas (no entertainment)? Drugs.
Trying to re-live your youth guarantees that you will be disappointed. You have to find a scene and lifestyle that you can enjoy now. Yes, those were, in deed, the days, but that scene is meant for another generation now…I’m in the same boat – eat well, drink well, enjoy your vacation time in new settings…you’ll never party like you used to.

Old Town is a shadow of its former self.
The city really hasn’t been consistently fun to party in since 2008.
There used to be strict dress codes, lines around the corner at many of my favorite haunts, and the partygoers used to be predominantly white. The women were prettier, friendlier, and more abundant back in the day, too.
It’s turned really ghetto in the last couple of years though, and the new crop of kids that go the bars there are largely broke, unemployed, and whack. There are a ton of new bars–and a few more in the works–but none that I’ve found to be worth a second visit. They all feel like knock-offs of real nightclubs in LA/Vegas/Miami.
Also, the women are more stuck-up, superficial, and have a much worse attitude now than ever before. None of them are worth dating for any length of time, much less getting married to.
For all these reasons and others, I may only go to Old Town just a couple of times a year now, compared to every weekend when it was in its prime.
Your better off saving yourself the time and money (like I do) by doing more productive things, like building your career or pursuing your passions. Women of quality will eventually take notice.
The guy in the green v neck, with a horrible hair line, holding the drink… his name in Guthrie he moved here from colorado about a year ago. He acts like he has a whole bunch of money but he’s coming close to draining his bank account. He had the “Mansion” party last year November in Scottsdale that was promoted by Renzo and his crew. Dude is an admitted alcoholic and drug addict who has to pay women to sleep with him. He also has a ex/wife that still lives in his house in Colorado. He is pathetic and will lie to get what he wants
