I Totally Agree With Nik Richie About Lance Armstrong
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, I’m totally with you about Lance Armstrong being the biggest scam in sports history. My mother and father both died of Cancer and for the past few years I have donated every year to the LiveStrong foundation. I’ve been a huge supporter of Lance because I could totally relate to him and his pain. But now to know that piece of sh*t got Cancer due to all the steroids and illegal PEDs he was putting in his body and it makes me sick for all the donations I have given. I lawyer’d up this morning and fired off a lawsuit against LiveStrong and demanding my money back. I’m not supporting this lying piece of sh*t. Nik please help me and other to file a class action Lawsuit against Lance Armstrong and LiveStrong.

I have a hard time believing that a reputable lawyer sent Nik this message. It is replete with grammatical errors that are so basic; given that Mr. Houston would have contemplated the publication of the letter on thedirty.com, he clearly would have proofread his work before sending it [and likely would never have written such garbage in the first place].

The Lance Armstrong Foundation doesn’t fund cancer research. It funds “cancer awareness”.

Of course he cheated and I cannot understand why so many people believed his denials for all those years. His sport was acknowledged as being full of cheaters. That means virtualy everyone he raced against was cheating. You really believed he could dominate his sport – winning 7 Tour de France titles – and do this without cheating when everyone else was cheating? Sorry, no one in any sport is that much better than everyone else. Usain Bolt is great, but he can’t spot the competition 20 meters every race and win every time. That is what Lance Armstrong wanted you to believe. everyone else was cheating and had this big advantage over him, but he was so, so much better that he could beat them – every time! R u nuts??

Professional athletes should be allowed and encouraged to use performance enhancing agents, it makes for better entertainment. I want to see homers 750ft hit off of 150mph fast balls. 400lb4ft vertical lineman chasing backs who run 40mph. They are adults choosing to do this to their bodies, being paid millions of dollars a year to play (grown men playing for a living) and there will always be more money in beating the system than enforcing it so this is a complete exercise in futility to attempt to stop it. Now it’s just uneven cause some try and get away with it while others compete clean. It will always be this way so why bother trying to stop it
Everyone in pro cycling doped and its nothing new. If you go look at the list of all the other people who get his titles you will notice everyone has been busted or suspected of using. To even be in pro at one point you had to use them. So say what you want about him but watching him dominate all those years got a lot of people to even think of picking a bike up. He also left LIVESTRONG so he wouldn’t hurt the foundation with all of this.
The same problem exists in many pro sports. Maybe not football; most of those people are too stupid to know how to cheat the system.
It should stop all the way around though. Or be legal. One or the other.
Half the people commenting here are ill informed asshats.
1) Lance didn’t get cancer from using steroids.
2) He started using legit testosterone replacement after one of his testicles were removed due to the cancer.
3)He couldn’t have cheated like this without explicit help from USA anti doping authorities, his team doctors, teammates, and the cycling world itself.
4) He should not have to give up ANY of his Tour De France victories and I’ll explain why. Take a look at the top 10 teams in each race. 100% chance they are all doping. Not 99% I said 100%. The entire sport is a fraud in this regard. Lance was cheating versus other cheaters, therefor no unfair advantage.
5) if you watch pro sports, you’re endorsing cheaters. period. There’s doping going on in EVERY single competetive sport around. All the major leagues have drug testing in place, but they chose to do so while leaving giant holes for people to slip through and they know this. All that happened when they introduced drug testing is the athletes switched to other drugs or shorter acting ones that wouldn’t stay in the system as long.
Lance is a total asshole. He came to my company’s holiday party because we’re associated with Livestrong. He showed up an hour late with 4, 18 year old whores hanging all over him. He talked only to the president of the company and then left. What a douche.
