THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, more on the string of deaths at Scientology’s rehab facility “Narconon”. Basically they can’t figure out how she died but ruled out illegal drugs. She had a congenital medical condition that was being treated with medication, and the family thinks the Scientologist’s there were refusing her the medication since the cult doesn’t believe in it.
“The state Medical Examiner’s Office could not determine what caused the April death of a woman at a detoxification facility rooted in Scientology, an autopsy report released Tuesday indicates. Hillary Ann Holten, 21, of Carrollton, Texas, died April 11 at Narconon Arrowhead, which is northeast of McAlester. Holten’s death is one of three recent deaths at the Narconon facility that have resulted in a multiagency investigation. According to a lawsuit filed by Holten’s family, she had congenital adrenal hyperplasia – the lack of an enzyme the adrenal gland needs to make certain hormones and to create too much of another hormone – that was being treated with medication. The lawsuit alleges negligence by the Narconon organization for accepting Holten into its program, given her medical condition, and not providing her with proper medical treatment.”

John Travolta’s son had a similar case because he had autism, which has a common symptom of seizures, but he was unmedicated for it because Scientology disagrees with the use of medication. He had a seizure in the shower and hit his head and died.

More accurate would be not all the comments within this post but several in which I did not click the arrows.
I knew someone 5 yrs ago who checked himself in here for help. They would lock him in rooms and tie him to chairs and make him watch Scientology videos. He had to steal a calling card and tried to call his mom who thought he was making it up because he was a drug addict. She hung up on him.. But then called the popular tv show “intervention” who told his mom “get your son out of there or he will never recover”. She picked him up after that and took him somewhere without religious ties. Believe me or not. I don’t care. It’s true.
