Mitt Romney Will Be Our 45th President
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, Mitt Romney is going to be our next President. Since the debate, his poll numbers have skyrocketed both nationally and in every key swing state. Colorado Romney is leading by 4%, North Carolina by 9%, Virginia by 4%, Florida by 3%, Ohio by 1%, and Missouri by 6%. Those are the swing states, but Romney is also close to leading in several states that no one thought he would have a chance in. Nevada is tied, Wisconsin Obama is only ahead 2%, Michigan 3%, Pennsylvania by 2%, and New Hampshire is tied. Some of those States have not been won by a Republican since Ronald Reagan. The Obama campaign spent $300 Million on negative Ads trying to paint Romney as something that hes not, and after the American people had a chance to see Romney in person, those Ads became ineffective. Romney started Bain Capital from his own hard work and started or turned around companies such as Staples, Sports Authority, Burlington Coat Factory, AMC Entertainment, Toys R Us, Warner Music, Dominos Pizza, and hundreds of others. His investors saw an average annual rate of return of 113%. The 2002 Winter Olympics were $379 Million in debt when he took over and he turned the games around and ended up erasing all of the debt and making $100 Million profit. As Governor of Massachusetts unemployment was 6.3% when he took office and 4.6% when he left. Mitt Romney is the world’s most successful turnaround artist and he will do the exact same thing to the American economy.

Its disgustingly sad that no one talks or even knows about the fact of the health care law that says any company with over 50 employees will be required to pay for their health care or pay a fine. OK, I have to take issue with some things in your post. First, looking through a keyhole at a limited set of data and then predicting victory is foolish. Had Obama shit the bed in the final debate rather than the first, you might have a point. Second, Romney started Bain with Dad’s American Motor Cars money. When your father is a former CEO, governor, and (failed) presidential candidate, it is easy raising start up funds for your private equity venture. Third, while investors may have realized a 113% return, what about the workers whose jobs were shifted overseas or whose pensions were raided Gordon Gecko style? What about all the companies Bain bought, over leveraged, and then left bankrupt pocketing all the money in the process? Fourth, Romney did in fact help the Olympics succeed, however how did he make up that $380 mil deficit? The FEDERAL GOVERNMENT paid for it! Now Romney, who would have let the American auto industry fail rather than bail it out, costing 1 million US jobs, wants to run on the success of a bailout? GET THE FCK OUT OF HERE WITH THAT SHIT! Fifth, regarding job creation in Massachusetts, Romney took office as the country was coming out of the recession caused by the bursting of the tech bubble. Naturally he should see a decrease in unemployment figures, hell if I was governor the same thing probably would have happened, ceteris paribus.
Finally, I would like to agree with one thing you said, Romney is the world’s most successful turnaround artist. He has turned his back on more positions than Benedict Arnold. Romney has the spine of a jelly fish when it comes to standing up for what he actually believes in. Mitt Romney will say and do whatever he thinks necessary to get elected. How can you trust him as president when he has demonstrated a slipperiness that would make Teflon jealous?
Just like John McCain, Romney sold out his beliefs for the Republican nomination. Just like McCain he chose a pretty face for VP that is all style and no substance. And just like McCain the American people will see Mitt Romney for what he is, a puppet of the moneyed elite whose only goal is the continuation and magnification of the economic inequality plaguing our country today.

There is no disputing that if Romney wins the rich will certainly get richer and the middle class may or may not be better off. Raising taxes worked fine during the Clinton years so people need to stop acting like its a new concept Obama invented. Neither are great but 99% of you are more like Obama than Romney.

Raising taxes during the Clinton years is not the same as doing it now. During the Clinton years the economy was booming because of the invention of the internet. Raising taxes on a booming economy will not hurt growth because people still can make money. But Obama wants to raise taxes during the worst economy we have seen in 50 years, which will give people one less reason to start a business or expand an existing one. Economics 101 bro

Even though l think it’s so important to bring my children to the polls with me to set a good example, I will be securely sending my ballot in my mail this time- to insure that my vote counts. For weeks with Obama in the lead all we hear about is how left sided the polls are and how in correct they are. Now that mittens appears to be edging out a little bit the polls suddenly are not rigged. Funny huh? Brain is NOT a good thing. A lot of the companies they “saved” outsourced the jobs to china. He went into companies bleed them dry, sold them for a profit, and then closed down the companies and forcing people to loose their jobs. Sounds JUST like the guy I want to run the country.
How is that different from what Obama did to the Auto Industry? He closed down companies that were less profitable and fired the workers. Pontiac, Saturn, Hummer, Mercury, and others were all closed down and tens of thousands were laid off. GM still owes taxpayers $40 Billion and they dont even need to pay taxes. How is that any different from what Romney did? Romney would buy companies which were failing and tried his best to save them. You make really good money when you save them, and try to break even and cut your loses when you cant, but all of them would have gone bankrupt if he didnt step in. He created or saved companies like Staples, Sports Authority, Burlington Coat Factory, Toys R Us, Dominos Pizza, Burger King, Sealys Matress, Bright Horizons, Artisan Entertainment, AMC, Warner Music, The Weather Channel, Dunkin Dounuts, Guitar Center, and hundreds of others. The example the Obama campaign tried to use of Romney closing a company was GST Steel. Obama claims Romney bought it, fired the employees and dumped it. In reality, he bought it in 1993 and the company didnt close until 2001. Bain actually invested over $100 Million into the company by upgrading technology and facilities. Bill Clinton passed legislation allowing for cheap steel imports, which collapsed the American Steel industry in the late 1990s, and 42% of US Steel Companies went bankrupt, including GST. That is the truth, not the BS Obama was trying to push.

I hate to bring up race, but I want to prove a point here. I am a black male & have worked hard my whole life fighting against racial stereotypes, but not in the way most people would think. I am fighting my own race because for some reason it is accepted in the black community that failure is what we are to strive for. Most of the black population in this country will be voting for obama, & that totally blows my mind. Most blacks will tell you the reason they are voting for obama is simply because he is black. Also most black voters are democrat, & that blows my mind as well. I am sick of living in this country as a black man who is a minority in the sense that I want to break away from the black ideology. I stayed in school, didn’t father children out of wedlock, have never been arrested, don’t smoke weed or do any other drugs, & am a father to my children that I had after I was married. (I have been marriied for 9 years). The black rap/hip hop culture has destroyed the black community, & obama has congratulated us for that. He feeds into the mindset of how “being black” is supposed to mean you drop out of school, sell & use drugs, have 9 kids with 11 different women, & take welfare & any other government handout you can get. He tells us that we are too dumb to make it on our own, so the government has to make our decisions for us & tell us what is in our best interest since we can’t decide that for ourselves. The democrat party has also hijacked the history of this country. I ask that you do your own research & you will see it has been the republicans who have done more for freeing blacks & the civil rights movement than any other party in history. I see the democrats as having no shame in using the black community for its own gain, & the black community being too stupid to notice. All the black leaders who are telling us what to do & who to follow have more money than God, & would never be satisfied at living in the same black neighborhoods they claim to represent. (Just look at a picture of Al Sharpton’s, Jesse Jackson, Jay-Z’s, Snoop Dogg’s, or Rev, Wright’s houses). Romneys plan is to lower taxes, cut useless regulations, and balance the budget and entitlements. Obamas is to raise taxes, add more and more regulations, and expand and add new entitlements. Which plan has worked and failed in the past? Woodrow Wilson (D) put us into recession in 1913. When Warren Harding (R) took office in 1921, the unemployment rate was 20%. Him and the next President, Calvin Coolidge (R) cut taxes and spending and the economy boomed. You probably learned about it in school…The Roaring 20′s. Then Herbert Hoover (D) took over, raised taxes and raised government spending by 88%. The economy crashed and it put us into the Great Depression. FDR (D) was then President for 12 years and we were in a Depression the entire time, until WWII saved our economy. After WWII we saw decades of prosperity under both Republicans and Democrats because Europe and Asia were in shambles. In the late 70’s Jimmy Carter (D) put us into a horrible recession. Ronald Reagan (R) took over in 1980, and passed a huge tax cut. The economy grew at a faster rate than our country had ever seen before or after, 23 Million new jobs were created, and America became the undisputed economic superpower of the world. Under Bill Clinton (D) the economy was poor during his first term, until Republicans took back the Congress and Clinton had to move to the center. Newt Gingrich and the Republicans passed The Contract with America, which balanced the budget, cut spending and reformed welfare. The economy boomed as a result. Under George Bush ® unemployment was between 4 and 5% for the first 7 years and the economy was strong. As we all know, the mortgage bubble caused our economy to crash shortly before he left office. He should have done more to stop it, but the mortgage bubble was caused by Bill Clinton and Democrats passing Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Housing Act and Equal Credit Opportunity Act. They forced banks to give mortgages to people who would normally not be able to qualify, or face a fine. Banks previously required 20% down payment, and this made them take little to nothing down. It forced them to give mortgages to more minorities, people with bad credit, etc, all under the umbrella that everyone should be able to own a home because it’s the American Dream. It was great for the economy while Clinton was President because everyone was buying homes or investing in real estate, and Bush enjoyed that same bubble while he was President. Then the bubble burst and the economy collapsed. Under Obama the economy has gotten worse due to bad policy. He added $6 Trillion to the national debt, has not created a single net job, gas prices have gone up 150%, 17 million more people are on food stamps, our credit rating continues to be downgraded, and a massive new entitlement program has been created that will bankrupt our country. The biggest driver of our deficit are these healthcare entitlement programs like Medicare and Medicaid, and Obama decided to go out and add one more.

Whether he’s the better choice or not, Obama has this election in the bag. He has the majority of the youth vote, the black vote, the latino vote, the LGBT community vote and every other forward thinker in the nation. Romney’s got racist rednecks and bible thumpers.
If it comes down to a single state, it will be Ohio not Florida. Florida is far more conservative leaning this time around, and for Romney to win right now – he needs to win Florida, and at least one other big swing state.
If Florida is competitive despite it’s right lean this election cycle – then it means left leaning states like Ohio, Virginia, Iowa, and Nevada are all in the Obama column (which is what you’re seeing right now). At that point there is no path to victory for Romney. He needs to win solidly in Florida, and close the gap in at least one or two of the above states to have a chance. Romney might pick up Colorado – but that’s not enough, even with Florida.
Remember it’s about the electoral map – not just the popular vote. Reagan won in 1984 with 49 of 50 states, yet only had a 5 point advantage in the popular vote. Romney has been able to make gains in the national polls – but it’s mostly been in states that were already leaning in his direction. The only state that he’s been able to turn has been Colorado. If he can’t turn a big state with a lot of electoral votes, he’s done.
